I would say I hate to be the contrarian, as that's normally the case, but, no, sorry not sorry, I freaking adore this game! Looking past the absence of Shaundi, Johnny, Pierce, Kinzie, and Oleg, this iteration of Saints Row is a fantastic contribution to the open-world, action-adventure, crime-driven niche. I've enjoyed all the Saints Row games I've played to date, but I just might enjoy this one most. The world of Santo Ileso is gorgeous and full of admittedly fun and exciting activities in which to partake; in fact, this is possibly the most visually spectacular and graphically impressive game I have ever played, rivaled with Pikmin 4 (yes, really!). But you know me - it's gameplay, not graphics, and this game delivers in that department as well! The main characters, Neenah, Eli, and Kev, are great, and as fun and over-the-top as the aforementioned Saints of old were, I could easily see myself hanging out with this trio of characters if they were real; g...

It's fun, I don't understand all the hate.
It's not the best Saints Row game - in fact it's probably the worst in the series, but, I still have fun playing it and that's what matters. The graphics are pretty good, the game is endlessly customizable including all kinds of difficulty options, control options, etc, and the game runs really well too plus it still has that core Saints Row feel to it despite being very different than the original Saints Row games. The location of the game is probably the second best map in all of the Saints Row series, Stilwater still takes the cake for sure but the map is really good here too. The story is admittedly one of if not the weakest in the Saints Row series, but I don't mind the story or characters in this even though it is quite different than the original Saints Row games, and the gameplay is enjoyable in this game. There's still fun to be had in this game and that's what keeps me coming back to this, even though I also still play the original Saints Row games as well.
When it comes to this game I really really really tried to like it and think that people are trashing on this game because it doesn't live up to the hype of the original Saints Row Turns out I was wrong This game gets boring at times with the combat, the story and the main characters that you are supposed to like including yourself. I was really disappointed that not even my custom made character wasn't even as interesting and I tried both male and female roles with different voices and I feel like the personality that both roles share is cringe and uninteresting. (disappointed that I cant make a hot goth chick with that kind of personality or a cool cowboy) The combat itself also feels repetitive and boring but sometimes broken. The gun aiming feels very weird and I don't like it (the crosshair is my main issue which cannot be changed) and also doesn't function properly when you shoot like when i take a revolver and I click ONCE to shoot and then it goes off and unloads the e...
The game that got a studio shut down. There are so many reasons why this game flopped on its ass. The bad, Timed Epic games exclusive. Later added to steam with mixed reception. To woke for its own good. Story writing is unbearable, characters are annoying. Its as if it was written by and for witty streamers. A far cry from what saints row 2 writing gave. Expect topics of friendship, catch phrases, weird character quirks, characters trying to hard to be badass, and so on. (They had something back in saints row 4 with all the character dynamics, yet they chose to abandon it, in favour of "Modern audience") Co-op is pretty broken. But that's nothing new, which saints row game actually had flawless co-op? The good: Gameplay and activities are probably some of the best in the series. Although, I didn't really find myself using the abilities you get during combat. A shot to the head sometimes worked better then tossing a grenade into a guys pants, then chucking the guy. The world is actu...
Saints Row is like ordering your favorite burger and getting a salad. It’s not what you asked for… but if you add enough chaos, explosions, and a co-op buddy, it’s still kinda tasty.
Its not as good as the others. The fact that you had someone add DEI to a southern themed game meant for conservatives was a huge mistake. I like my games to honor traditional western culture. You did fine with Saints Row the Third. But you sort of did it there to. You just got away with it because of how good it was. This one is a failure. You could have done better.
I wanted to give this game a chance but i just cant, ive played every saints row game and loved it but this game is ass and single handily the worst purchase ive ever made. It does not deserve to be a saints row game in the slightest and it kinda feels like a India games attempt at making a gta knockoff and that's also disrespectful because an indie studio could do a better job than this game, the story is ok, the game-play oh my god the driving is horrible the gun play abysmal and the general movement feels stale and robotic. The game would have potential if it had similar movements and take downs to saints row 3 and 4.(I hate the health bars) The game is bad don't buy it. It feels like drinking orange juice after brushing your teeth. 1 Gat out of 88 canisters of gasoline
Idk what this is but this isnt saint row
if you get the game and dlc for 10 dollars or less its pretty fun and it goes on sale regularly
