This is like Ski Stunt Simulator (2001 by Motion Playground) but simplified and only one level. I understand the positive reviews because Ski Stunt Simulator was an amazing indie game before it's time. But this is like a demo of a beta compared to the original. Sorry. Do I recommend this game? Yes and no, but mostly no. I love the concept and the original is not easy to find today but the original is like the full game of this demo.

About the Game
Just Ski is a challenging, minimalist, physics driven game that will frustrate and punish you in the beginning but reward you with the feeling of mastery in the end.The Controls
The controls for Just Ski are borrowed from an old, abandoned game called Ski Stunt Simulator.Your only control over the skier is to move your mouse down to make him crouch or up to make him extend. It's a very simple to understand mechanic but requires a healthy amount of practice to master.
The key to success with Just Ski is learning to control your rotation while in the air. It's all about gaining a feel for the conservation of angular momentum: crouch to spin faster, extend to spin slower.
Your Goal
Just ski to the cabin.Learning Curve
Like learning to ride a bike, Just Ski is going to feel clunky and impossible in the beginning, but once mastered will feel smooth and rewarding with just the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting.
-Have fun and thanks for playing!

Simple. Addicitive. Fun. Three things Steep is not.
Just. Ski. No awful menus, settings, controls or anything. It's challenging and simple. A burst of top quality game priced perfectly. 10/10
Control scheme is terrible. SAD! inb4 "you just suck" "git gud"
Great physics. Fun gameplay. A bit frustrating, but addictive. I hope there will be more game modes or tracks added in the future.
I just beat the game. It's very fun, reminds me of Ski Stunt Simulator. No procedual generation of levels. You go through all the colors and start over if you die. Very short, but it's three bucks so w/e I just wish there was more levels or challenge.
Please PM me when you add the horizontal bend - the waist. Nothing frustrates me more than launching and knowing there is no saving this jump. Let me land on my back, Let me land on my ski tips and roll forward. Please give me a restart button for when I know I'm screwed. Please let me autostart. Please let the start section be faster. Also, I am not nearly patient enough to land 5+ jumps successfully. I put in dozens of hours hours on Crash and Burn because the reset is super fast, like playing Super Meat Boy. Let me save progress. Let me choose levels.
As someone who enjoys a good challenge in a game, I found this little game ridiculous. Maybe I missed something in the controls, but I got so tired of landing on my head and having to restart and making no progress. Ever time I landed it felt like I just lucked out. Getting Over It was a more enjoyable experience than this one.
its just so boring
Not quite what I expected since I expected you could also lean forwards and backwards like in the legendary "SkiStunt Simulator". ALso too sterile and only one level. Not for me.
