First off. I love the idea of an deck building real time strategy game. This game is far more interesting than games like Clash Royal. I want to give this a thumbs up but it's just not welcoming to new players. Pros: You get the whole game for one price Models are cool looking Cards look awesome Variety of gameplay (2 maps 100 cards) Champion card (always having access to a creature) Cons: No tutorial Not much is explained Limited voice lines Terrain is hard to read I had to figure out how to play the game by myself. It's pretty similar to other games that I have played so I got it but if there was someone out there with less gaming experience, they would stuggle quite a bit. I don't mind games with low player base. It's not the game devs job to bring players. I can also play single or with 1 other player so that is fine. The idea of 2v2 sounds awesome. I think this game would best be suited for people who like games like Magic and games like Starcraft. If I had 3 other friends wh...

I was excited for a fast paced game based on a customized deck. I was expecting a story mode or campaign. This game was neither. The game plays slow and the only option in is to play against AI (there is an online option but there are no games or reason to play online). The game has the core of something really great but is far from ready for the public. There are much better ways to spend your money than this.
The idea is cool , but the product are boring. Ths RTS part is NOT good enough to have fun or enjoy it.
Deck Casters is a game that defies genre rules. It's like Hearthstone meets Warcraft. Strategically battle across varied maps with an army of magical creatures and electrifying spells. Deck Casters brings deckbuilding to life with fast-paced, RTS gameplay and tactical combat. You get to build uniquely powerful decks made of five elements. You can use your core deck in solo matchups or 2v2 team battles. The best part of Deck Casters is that you master various card combinations to create a deck of unstoppable force.
The game doesn't work at all... when i try to do an AI batle i can't see the cards i draw. there are no online players. when i try to visit the website it sends me to huge domains.com . i regret buying this and i will ask steam for a refund becouse this is just a lore page about mythical creatures. The game doesnt work. I like the concept though....
Scrolling around feels unusually clunky, the units are actually only slightly different from each other in practice (maybe if you git gud then the minor distinctions in how they heal and circumstances where they self-buff become important, but when just trying the game you just have to put more units up against fewer units), and the random card draws mostly serve to sometimes annoy you with a hand full of spells you don't really need and can't easily get rid of. Oh, and the single player mode is definitely not the mode they were hoping people would play, which is too bad when there's nobody else playing.
