Game to long for it's own good. Also for some reasons load game only showed chapter 1 saves, so I couldn't restart the day before if I wanted.

About This Game
Person of European Heritage #112: Welcome to Relocation Block B, your new home. Your designated role is 'Bouncer'. Work hard, stay out of trouble, and we might let you stay in the UK.
In an alternative Britain where Brexit talks have collapsed, an extreme far-right government has taken power. Citizens of European heritage have been rounded up and exiled. Forced out of your previous life, you find yourself in the midst of a booming gig economy, fighting to scrape by and return to the city you call home.
Not Tonight is a post-Brexit management game, fusing a time-pressure RPG with a politically charged story where every decision matters. Will you join the resistance and fight the regime -- or keep your head down and hope that one day this will all be a distant memory?
Man the doors of pubs, clubs, festivals and parties, finding work via the BouncR app
Check IDs, manage guestlists, and stop revellers from becoming unruly
Upgrade your apartment, bouncer and equipment to better prepare yourself for the future
Decide what lengths you'll go to in order to survive in a Britain on the verge of collapse

Art style is cute, but it is way too much of a drag. The "special events" aren't special and ultimately lead to nothing, the save system is limited and unintuitive, and the entire game is so repetitive. This problem doesn't occur in "Papers Please" due to the varied people, events, whereas in this game everyone is a robot. Game needs to lose a few hours of gameplay, the first time you play isn't so bad but I dread ever replaying it again. By the end of the game I was purposely skipping missions just because I didn't want to do them, I had every upgrade and all the money I could want so there was no purpose in doing any of the gravel pit missions. The health system didn't get in my way too much, as I found it very easy to complete the bonuses on each mission which led me to getting all of the apartment upgrades. The missions where you worked for the government were better since they introduced new documents and tools, but the allure wore off quickly. I understand why not many people...
I liked it but it was TOO long! Like, I was so tired of gameplay loop after chapter 1 I never actually finished it. Before I played this game I had thought that Papers, Please was too short but no, it was of perfect length it turns out! Like, bleehhhhhhhhhh I don wanna finish it man!
Great game!
interesting storyline, good for those who may not have a long attention span, i was hyper-fixated on this for a couple of days. enjoyed and already recommended to some friends, there's a couple of red herrings and special guests to keep you entertained, which i also found hilarious. almost an unintentionally funny game. i know it was designed like this but the satire take on comedy really made my day.
addictive game
its cool
I... would like to like this game, I really do, even just a little bit. It's just... yes, for the million and onthe review in a row I will compare it to Papers, Please. This game is pretty, it's got nice location designs, the music is generally pretty easy on the ears and it's of course got the same overall draw as Papers, Please, BUT: The biggest difference in my opinion between the two games, is that where in Papers, Please they get up on their soap box and dictate to you what an honor it is to serve your glorious nation, and do your part for the glory of Arstotska, this game just completely lacks in impact. It tells the same cautionary tale, but it does so in a way that feels so unimportant, unconcerned and a little uninspired admittedly and that just really kind of kills it for me to be honest. Granted, I will concede that good art does not a good game make, and vice versa. I respect the message, and I generally agree with it. I just wish it was more... attractive, in that w...
