Cleansuit

Even among a lot of releases in Steam, pure text adventures are very rare. The game is more like a treasure hunt than survival horror. It's not difficult to find one or two ways to survive. However if trying to see remaining endings (12 in all) and death situations, you need to get into undescribed riddles, which are a sort of situation puzzles that can be finished by just 5 actions at least. Short, but funny. While the game lacks typing history and save function (well, maybe unnecessary), I love the unique minimal art, the new style killer cleansuit-guy, the atmosphere of slovenly lonesome man's life, and so much cynical humor. Yes, in old days game storytellers were self-deprecatingly like this for some reason.

A highly interesting game for fans of text-based adventures and newcomers alike. There's a lot of freedom to do what you want, but at the same time it's not hard to figure out what path you'd like to pursue/explore. The visual aids both add to the atmosphere and make it easier to navigate through the house if you have no experience with games of this type. I just wish there were a few achievements to go along with the game, since it's all about experimentation and figuring out the different ways to finish the game (there are many, many endings!). Highly recommended!

Cleansuit's a hilarious illustrated text-adventure that feels like a strong nod to the old Hitchhiker's Guide text games, both in its twisted sense of humor and level of difficulty. Unlike Hitchhiker's, Cleansuit is a short game to complete, but one that you can easily come back to to mess around and try new things. Overall, I'd recommend it if you're a fan of goofy and creative text adventures.

Lots of variation in the ways to defeat the murderer. Very thematic and stylish as well. Music and art seem like a throwback to older text-based point'n'click horror games.

5 bucks well spent. Randal is the most powerful character in gaming.

Fun game! Great dark comedy adventure. Really liked the music and writing! Accepts lots of responses and has quite a few endings.

Incredibly dumb but also strangely amusing. The humour won't be for everyone, but it tickles the sarcastic, slapstick childish part of my brain so right. I have definitely spent the price of this game on far worse things, and this just makes me hungry for more text adventure games.

Just gonna warn you before you buy that despite what the game impies you actually CAN'T jack off in this game. Pretty disappointing given that that's what I bought the game for but still great game.

A suprisingly fun and funny little game. Finding creative was to survive or die is getting pretty addictive. The art style doesn't do a whole lot for me, but doesn't detract from the game. Well worth the $4 for this little text adventure game.
