Tropical Escape

Graphics look ok, but gameplay is frustrating. First thing I needed to do was "built a raft". That's it. No instruction, no tutorial (at least not a clear one). Spent minutes just running round collecting wood, with no idea of what they can be used for. If this comes with a proper tutorial, because let's face it, the interface isn't the best, then I will give it another go. I might also change my review.

needs alot of work. DO NOT BUY.... Yet. fix it and make it so you can craft better. i played for a half hour and got tried of looking for wood to build a raft and it does not tell you how to do anything. just build a raft and thats it.

Does not work. Just the menu. The game quits when I launch a new game.

This look great on graphic, work fine in 4k as most unreal stuff do.. BUT ... the mechanic of this game is totaly crap ...its so poorly made it make you nearly tear you head of just to try do simple things... like get on the raft early on ... else its just loooot of running around looking for few types of resourses... There is muuuch better games of same type.. try does before this..

This is terrible so many bugs and problems with this it is just unplayable. Dont waste your money.

For a first time game for these two gentleman I must applaud them. And two years to complete. I've been waiting for some games for years and they have a budget and a whole team working on it. This game has lots of aspects to it and can always add more content and story lines. There is really no end to it. You are really trying to survive from the elements, animals, everything you would expect from mother nature! For the price you can't go wrong. I didn't have any trouble with hardware and the game ran smooth mostly. A few crashes when it came to loading from dying and such. But not anything a million dollar title hasn't had. And why doesn't Steam have spell check!!!? lol Good job developers! Thanks for a very challenging game!

ok at first had trouble with the game with food not giving water but with the updates it was good .. crafting was different but easy to get use to it , carrying only 10 items at a time was strange but hey it still worked ok . It was a fun game to play some parts are tricky with sliding down the hill and dying that was not fun but you get the hang of it ,, it has its ups and downs ,, to me i think its an awesome game to play and will still keep playing it ,, and would recommend it to anyone who likes a challenging survival game

Game keeps grashing upon loading cannot play game requested a refund might buy it again when i know i can play it and mayb change my review, but for now i cannot play gets stuck on 3 bars of loading then kicks me out.

Picked up the game, I like survival games and supporting new develeopers. First part of game is ok, the extra wood is not there, had to hunt long time to make raft. Not much food to be found. Onc raft was made, took forever punching W key to get across ocean. Almost starved before I got there. Once there, found 1 apple and 1 coconut, no wood, 2 branches and 3 rocks in half hour of running and starving. Not sure if there is any other way to collect resources other than run around look for them on the ground. I saved the game to reset some of my graphics display as I could only see like 5 meters in front of me for wood, food etc ... Now I cannot reload that game from checkpoint, or continue. Other than this reload issue, I think the game is off to a good start, good game for those who don't have time to play 1500 hrs. I will try reloading it tomorrow and see what happens.

Extremely long loading time, menu buttons are invisible, I just clicked something in good luck, game did a benchmark... Try again... More waiting... Eventually, after 15 minutes, I FINALLY reach the part which they call: "Gameplay" I thought it was all because I only have 8 GB of Ram but after seeing how the game is, I just don't get it... Like graphical wise, it's really bad for a game from 2018, like the beach was just giving my eyes the brightest show of white beachsand... But I don't give up THAT easily, so I started gathering apples, berries, wood - while watching the onscreen tutorial which buttons to press for which purpose. "Make a raft" - so I open up my inventory and closed it, because I saw NOTHING, most text was gone somewhere to the left, same as for the crafting options, I didn't see the options. So I jumped in the water and swam to the nearest island. Took me about 30 minutes, couldn't take a break, because a shark was right behind me. I do understand the significant...
