100% Achievement Review: Borderlands 1 GOTY Enhanced Time to Complete: Approximately 50-60 hours, with a mix of single-player and co-op gameplay. Gameplay: For a game released 15+ years ago, the gameplay in Borderlands 1 has held up surprisingly well, and it's a game I never get sick of, despite finishing it multiple times on multiple different platforms. Achievements: For the most part, the achievements are a breeze to obtain until you need to collect oil cans, pizza slices, etc., or reach the Underdome DLC, since they take hours to grind even with 2-3 other players. Replayability: Borderlands has been built on replayability, with the game encouraging multiple playthroughs and a range of side missions and DLC to keep you going. Bugs/Issues: Others have mentioned memory leaks and crashing on the Enhanced Edition, but thankfully, I faced none of that, and the only real issue I had was when my partner was playing via co-op their mini-map would go blank from time to time. I initially tried this game alone, and dropped it. Recently picked it back up in co-op. I've played as berserker and my co-op partner (cronchy) played as siren. It was a lot more fun to play with someone. The game isn't exactly story deep, felt good to just run from mission to mission and shoot enemies. We only encountered few issues. In one mission cronchy bugged and fell off the elevator and I couldn't send the elevator down for him. We had to reload. 2nd issue (which possibly isn't a bug but a feature?) is that when we finished the main missions, my screen went white after credits, I lost all my quest progress in quest log , dropped all my weapons, lost storage space and could only equip 2 weapons. I suspect only the host keeps progress that's why it did that (I still got to keep my levels, and could pick up weapons )

Borderlands is woke slop and DEI infested trash. Gearbox is now trying to shut down the steam discussion for their upcoming game, Borderlands 4. Hundreds of people posted about their dislike for what the company is doing, and were banned from posting, had their posts deleted, and generally, the company is moving forward with DEI and Woke content nobody who plays the game wants. Respect Gearbox as much as it respects you: don't buy their games.

I don't know what's more cringe, Claptrap or the rapidly aging gameplay loop.

This game is not worth giving them access to all of my personal data. If you wanted alternate media recs you could have asked. No need to skim my browser history with spyware.

If I sound happy, it's only because my programmers made this my default tone of voice. I'm actually quite depressed!
