Ballistic Mini Golf

I really don't get why this game has mixed reviews, I may only have 4 hours into this game but it's been a lot of fun. The game has over 17 courses (Recently added 3 more as of this date), over 10 locations which are very unique from each other, a variety of game modes to play, multiplayer support and more. So why does this game have so many negative reviews? The developers clearly care for this game due to the fact they are actively working to make the game better by adding much needed features. They are planning to add all this content: 150+ new holes / New locations / Course editor / Replay system / Localization / Achievements & Leaderboards. All this for only £4, there is very little argument over whether this is worth it because it 100% is worth it. I recommend this game because it's honestly fun to play, I hope in the future it becomes an even better golf game.

Golf with your friends is just better in every way and is about the same price. Shooting is a complete hassle in this game. You hold down the button and the meter charges up and down constantly. If there's any sort of obstacle that moves constantly you're forced to wait forever until the power you want matches with the obstacle being out of the way. Far better would be if the power was a drag. Furthermore, you have to drop the ball into the cup absolutely perfectly. If it's anything other than the perfect weight, it will rim or bounce out, even from close range. Get Golf with Your Friends, or even better wait until the christmas sale when Golf with Your Friends will be on sale for like 2 bucks.

Ball moves as if it's on ice. Sometimes there won't be collision and the ball will just fall through the floor. Sometimes the hitbox is in the course and you can't get past it to finish the hole. All the courses look similar, gets very repetitive. Load times are very inconsistent, sometimes instant, sometimes 2-3min. Mouse loses focus and moves to my other screen, even when if full screen mode. Just download workshop courses on Golf It if you need more mini golf, don't waste your time with this.

Going to give it a not recommended.... but that is just for now and I am not going to get a refund because I think it will improve, keep your eyes on it. FIRST I Love GOLF IT. This is like Golf it, except it doesnt have workshop made courses and it doesnt have working ramps yet. Any jump that requires a ramp is going to go bad for you. (this was written on 11-26-17) I am going to keep the game though and not return it because I believe they can get this fixed. I am hoping they just redo the ramp or add some sort of boost to the start of the ramp. When you hit any ramp it does basically the sand slowdown right in front of it so you dont make the jump... very frustrating.

Game looks very good and promising so far, except for one problem- please give us an option to turn off motion blur, i don't want a headache. Great game though guys!

Power shot indicator is inconsistent.. Not being able to turn off motion blur or depth of field which is extremely headache inducing. Different game modes wasn't noticable to me as an option. No max shot limit as even an option. Only good thing is the game has some good textures though. Would make it a 3/5 if I didn't have to make a new game to change any settings like which course I am playing on, I should be able to do that from lobby menu. Hope update on at least the motion blur and depth of field comes sooner than later, that was the game breaker for me. 2.5/5 Expanded version due to Zols request. I love a good developer who cares. another bad mini golf game made with bought assets, AVOID

Ballistic Mini Golf is a great new addition to the mini golf game genre. I am in love with this game so far. and ive only played it for an hour. The graphics are stunning, and there are some great customization options already available. There are for sure some features id love to see added, like the ability to change the player names, and maybe limit shot ammounts and or time limits. I've spent either 44 strokes or 15mins on a single hole. As well as having the game take you back to the course selection after completing a course instead of automatically proceeding to the next course. But all around this game is great especially considering its in its first week of release of early access. Loving it and Cant wait to see what the developers have in store for their game!

Ignore the people who have complaints about this game. People will find anything to complain about for everything. This game is fun with challenging holes to play. The graphics are pretty awesome and playing the game is quite entertaining. I bought the game out of curiosity as I love mini golf games and this game is great. I will be spending many hours playing this game.
