Go Kart Survival

I've got to say this has to be the worst racing game I've played on steam so far. The controls are piss poor, the menus look like something made in Microsoft Paint and the options screen is tiny as hell. This is the kind of game that should NOT BE ON STEAM If you want to release a game in this state put in on GameJolt and let people try it and give you feedback. This game is a masterclass. It truly gives you a challenge along with a sense of immersion no other racing games have. The way it progressively introduced new game mechanics to its arsenal makes the game thrilling on each of the new levels. The game equips you with 9 levels of action packed racing starting you off with some relatively simple levels slowly becoming harder and harder. I rate this game -8/10

An amazing idea with so much potential, but its completely ruined. Its grindy as hell and incase you're actually good at the game, there's a cap on how many resources you can get in a day. Parts from certain factions require parts from other factions, but you cant switch factions for a day, so you're constantly switching between them just so you can get one part which then you have to wait 10 hours for it to craft, and including grinding for all the resources to craft said parts, (which as I mentioned is also capped) it can take you weeks just to get a new gun for your vehicle. Combat isn't much better, a huge issue is that you can literally do 99% of someones HP, and if someone comes in at the last second and shoots them, it becomes an assist, and you WANT kills if you wanna earn a good chunk of scrap metal. You can also get put into games with players who are leagues above you in levels, but are running a vehicle with a low powerscore so they're allowed to fight against you, and you...

I wouldn't have bothered leaving a negative review if this game was free, but since it's not, I can't help but feel it's just a quick money-grab by the devs. Getting through the levels isn't harder because they're challenging, but because the gameplay mechanics are just awful, wasting a ton of time. I only picked this up because I had a few bucks left over after grabbing all the games I actually wanted during a sale. Guess there's no point in griping any more than I already have, but seriously, to anyone considering it, save your cash. There's nothing worthwhile here.
