Butterfly Moment

Are you afraid of butterflies? If so, do not buy this game. You will literally be swarmed by virtual butterflies. They are all over the place and pop in and out of your view. However, if you are not afraid of butterflies then listen up. I do recommend this game and I think it was priced correctly at $1.99 (and even better on sale for $1.49). Keep in mind, there's not a lot of "gameplay" here. This is a artistically inspired VR nature experience. This game has one of the most beautifully rendered artistic nature VR environments, both stylistic and audibly. This world is so beautiful that you just want to stay here and ignore the butterflies as much as possible. The trees actually move with the breeze. The sky, the water, the flowers, the sounds of nature, are all so absolutely gorgeous and the mountain backdrop to this island paradise just give you a I want to live here forever feeling. I wish this game environment was used as a Zelda clone RPG where you can move about freely...

4/10! Pretty cool and relaxing little VR game. If you are looking to pick this up, buy it now because on sale and it's going to be removed off of Steam on 1st October 2019! It's a shame it does't have any achievements though.

Unfortunately, I am unable to get this VR game to work. Once loaded the instructions request that you hold the trigger down until the scene fades. Neither Vive controller work in the described manner so there is virtually no way to progress past the opening scene. While the opening scene is pretty and calming, there is virtually nothing you can do but stare at the basic surroundings. This is certainly not an issue with my controllers as all other content I load work fine with the controllers. It is impossible to provide a positive review if you cannot even progress past the opening scene :)

This game is very simple. Catch butterflies. Its not very well made considering how simple it is. It could be a neat first experience for a child, but my 5 year old so got bored of it FAST. He asked me "Is this all you do in the game?'. I had hoped for a bit more depth, but the price was fair when I bought it on sale. I would not recommend buying it unless they do major additions.

Got this at 75% off, it definitely gave me value for money at that price. For the full price I'd expect a couple more features.... Maybe different colored butterflies and stats for each, or some more locations. That said, I did play this all the way through, and enjoyed doing so. Definitely worth a shot when on sale if you like calm, fairly relaxing, repetitive VR games.
