Worth what it costs; it costs 2.19 CAD. The most important tip I can give about this game: save liberally. Room 42 does an excellent job at pacing but this comes at the cost that dying makes the player totally replay what they've seen since their last save. (I'd wish for a feature like many VNs have: let me skip or fast forward text and NPC conversations/actions I've already read.) I did two play throughs then two partial playings to see if I could unlock a third route. My reading of certain events would lead me to believe there is a third route but after two-thirds into the second route, I started getting very tired of a common trope in this game. I don't trust there is anything more to this game than what I've seen. A pet-peeve of mine is when a character keeps some secret. Even if it is irrational to keep it. (Even if a lie would make more sense than be forthright about keeping a secret.) Paraphrase of a section of the game: "We gotta leave here right away!" "Why?" "Not telling y...

Just finished streaming this one. Very atmospheric and instills the right sense of dread and helplessness. The music and sound work is terrific. It REALLY needs a faster text skip feature, though.

UPDATE: First playthrough took me around 1 hour 30 minutes, and I have a feeling this game has multiple endings, since the ending I reached felt like I missed a lot of things. (SPOILERS) The ending I got: https://youtu.be/pwb8eX76Zo0 ____________________ 30 minutes into the game: -Heavy on the dialogue -Not much gameplay Weird/Unique fact: Story took place on March 4, 2007 (i.e. in the PAST and NOT the future). So this game NEVER happened. Follow me as the game unfolds: https://youtu.be/kLJBnHEE9zg

I couldn't take much more than the few minutes I played. The characters and dialogue were so unbeleivable it was almost comical. One guy goes from trying to shoot me to introducing himself with a smile and one woman goes from "How may I help you?" to talking about seeing a friend's throat ripped out. And who would say "Oh where are my manners? Let me introduce myself." When there's some sort of deadly terror just beyond the door? I couldn't bear the terrible dialogue one minute more.

Well this is slow, boring, and has minimal interaction from the player (more like watching a very slow TV episode)

Pretty good mystery/horror game. Consist of two main routes, each of them containing a part of the story necessary to understand what's going on. I was expecting some grand finale, aka true ending 3rd route but sadly it doesnt have that. Not that it matters too much, the game is perfectly fine and enjoyable as is.
