About This Game

"Until the last" - this is first-person indie horror which takes place in the park called "Lone way". You will play a private detective Mark Fane, and the main challenge is to understand what is going on in the park. In addition to this you should not allow attackers to bring their plans into reality and, of course, try to get out of this place safe and sound. There are four different endings of the story. They depend on the task performances.
Features:
- Almost every item you have to find while playing the game is randomly located at one of several possible places. In addition, there are other possibilities in the game which do not depend on the player, such as on / off and even broken lights along the road or rain that could suddenly start at any time. This makes the game unpredictable.
-Besides flashlight batteries discharge you can also damage your flashlight. To repair it you have to find the appropriate tool or go with an alternative light source until the end of the game. Every option has its advantages.

I bought this game after watching the intro video. After winning Until the Last, here are my thoughts. This is a very, very short game. I died twice and won it the third time. Those 3 attempts took me 24 minutes. If you read the help before playing the game you could easily win it the first try. That means the game could take a tiny 7 minutes to win. Yes there is the replayability factor. The items appear randomly and you could go through the motions of doing everything again and again. So the time it took to win the game was obviously a big negative. It felt like one level of a much bigger game. I was actually dissapointed when after winning the first level there was nothing more. The actual gameplay elements were fun. Running around, trying to escape the monster, looking for the items (this could become frustrating if they spawn in difficult places), and defusing the bomb were all generally fun. To summarize, this is a fun little Indie game, but it's just way, way too short. 7 ...

The good! - Uh, it works. Mostly. Sort of. - It is technically, in some sense of the term, a game. The bad. - Enemies are everywhere and all except the main baddie just instantly jumpscare + damage you with no warning. The main baddie, on the other hand, is totally laughable and spends most of his time stuck on terrain or generally ignoring you. Unless he doesn't, in which case he's actually impossible to outrun and survive. - The game is basically a pseudo-randomized scavanger hunt in the spoopy woods - basically Slender. Unlike Slender, you have to find everything in a specific order ... meaning, statistically speaking, you'll almost always find the wrong thing first and just get frustrated. - Has actually the single worst jumpscare ever. Seriously I'm easy AF to jumpscare and I laughed at it. That is, however, the most fun I had while playing. THE VERDICT If you like bad indie horror games set in creepy forests just go play Slender, it's at least competent. Video first im...

Not a good game. The RNG sucks, items are often hidden far away from the path and you just won't find them. Also the monster walks and kills you to fast and he seems to teleport himself. So you will die a lot of cheap deaths.

This game is not for me. I picked this up for 45% off during the Halloween sale and I feel a bit ripped off. I can see what some people would find fun with this game. It's neat to run around in the woods looking for randomly spawned items to save the day while avoiding a big scary monster. The RNG factor was incredibly unkind to me during my playthrough. The monster consistently spawned on top of me and running is ridiculously terrible in this game. You run out of stamina after only a few seconds of trying to get away. I couldn't figure out how to outrun the monster so I died a lot which was frustrating. I had a really hard time finding anything that wasn't batteries which eventually led to me getting the ending where the bomb goes off. Pity. If you have favorable RNG then you are able to finish the game in less than 10 minutes. Yikes. So yeah, not for me.

Until the last is some pretty lazy Russian shovelware, ostensibly it's a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" slapped together a few stock 3D models/Unity assets, dumped them all in a blender with a lulzy, very poorly made map and simple gameplay loop to make a first person adventure with the occasional jump scare. Then submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. This probably took the best part of a day to put together, it's extremely lazy and low quality, very buggy, and most certainly a shovelware cash grab from Russia. To emphasize how little effort there is, I can go over the entire game in full detail in just a very short paragraph. It's a small map with two monsters that will give you harmless jumpscares or hurt you (the boy and girl that you can learn about if you read any of the 5 pickup texts). You have a battery powered torch you can use to deter the boy/monster. There's a bomb you must disarm, by collect...

The graphics are okay and the atmosphere is really nicely done. however, it seems completely random whether you win or lose. things happen randomly and dont make much sense. sometimes things will spawn right next to you and kill you and other times you just get jumpscared. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_tO4r_VwgY&feature=youtu.be

Ok well I wish that I could have properly played this but there are bugs to work out and it wasn't very polished. I'm not sure if the notes/dialogue were written in English or poorly translated but I did not know what exactly was happening or why. The first time I loaded the game I was immediately attacked and killed by a troll. I thought I was defusing a bomb??? The second time I loaded the game I went along the very dark path because my flashlight literally only stays on for three seconds and then no longer works. Then my character will light a lighter, which also stays on for about three seconds and then no longer works. I found a couple of notes that were...unclear but it seems there was a biological experiment gone awry? What does that have to do with the bomb? After reading the notes, the movement controls are locked so you have to switch to another mode to move and then once you do, they work again. So i take a few steps and then a girl pops up and jump scares you with a sto...

Heavy RNG (as many comments say), Monster is stupid, idk, good for a first time project but i'm not sure if it has a place on the steam store. Also 5 euros for something so short is not worth it.
