About This Game

[img{STEAM_APP_IMAGE}/extras/Animation7.png[/img]
The story takes place in alternative reality. The world is ruled by bureaucracy. The predatory creatures like lycanthropes and vampires live among humans in peace and have equal rights.

There are destructible objects in the game, some may affect the gameplay. The lighting in the game plays an important role in some of locations, as it’s hard to see who’s hiding in the darkness. If you need to hide from humans, look for the dense vegetation.

The main hero, Adam, is one of “savants” — people with supernatural powers, who represent the law enforcement of human race. Adam’s supernatural power is foreseeing the future. In fact, Adam cannot die, as when he dies, he returns to the moment where he could avoid death. Thus, he can affect only his own future. Making a mistake he can’t just fix it by going back. For example, he killed an innocent but in that moment Adam wasn’t in danger. In this case, he returns to the moment after him committing a murder.

I honestly don't remember purchasing this game. Which slightly softens the blow. This game tries to be too many things, and as a result drops the ball repeatedly. At first glance the whole "top down shooter" presentation, has you in mind of Hotline Miami or Nuclear throne. Which highlights the games issues from the tutorial alone. In the HM and NT they have distinct BUT clear art styles. I can tell whats cover, and whats decoration and whats lethal at a glance. Not the case here, the level had a mix of murky tones with varying things that could be cover. The enemies were also murky and obviously didn't have to worry about visibility. The tutorial doesn't actually tell you anything, it just throws you into things. The UI is spread out, which isn't a major sin, but looking off to figure how much targets you have to shoot will get you killed. Your character has a teleport ability, but the cool down isn't made obvious. Your gun ammo is shown, but it doesn't make clear reloading...
