Little Adventurer II looks to be an very unfinished game. You start in a small valley, with a young woman ahead of you. When you go up to her, she asks you if you would like to find her mirror for her. However, there seems to be no way to answer Yes or No to her (I tried all of the keys on the keyboard). In fact, the game doesn't list any keys/controls at all (FYI, it uses the standard WASD keys for movement). I walked around the valley and could find no way out. However, the store page has preview screenshots which show buildings. So, either I didn't find the secret way to those buildings, or they're not part of the publicly accessible game at this stage. Although, I did find one spot in the hills surrounding the valley where I could walk over it and fall into the abyss below. So, at least I got one second of fun out of playing the game (not that it seems to be much of a game at this stage). In fact, the only reason Steam has me listed as playing Little Adventurer II for over 15 m...
Appreciate the effort, but needs finesse.
The game has a great 3D-Zelda-Like feel to it, but the framerate is quite bad on my i7-Laptop. I do not have a dedicated GPU, but still 45FPS on an i7. There are optimization issues that need tending to. The camera and interaction is not well implemented. The camera feels like it's hovering on a block of ice, and there is no interaction key. You even have to press ALT to show the cursor, which I found very unattractive. All this said; however, the game has room for improvement, and I hope to see it become Steam's little zelda emulation. Thank you.
the camera is nausea inducing, also no tutorial at all so i didn't really know how to pick up things. the only npc i found told me to find an "ax". i hope this is a beta of sorts
Best $0.50 I ever spent; worth it for the laugh I had with my mates You don't want to buy this game unironically though ((Okay though, on a more serious note: -The assets are inconsistent and it makes me wonder if they are stolen -The quit button doesn’t work -Settings menu mispelt -Missing textures -Missing basically everything -Easy to break -If you open the menu it won’t close -Walking makes the camera move away from your character))
