Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition

I maintain that to this day, this game is the best DnD game to enjoy with your friends. You just need to understand a few things going into it. 1 - The main campaign is hot garbage and very simplistic in design. 2 - It's a very simplified version of an older edition, so the rules aren't going to be exactly the same as what people currently know (5E). Now, where the game shines is the free expansive content from a massive modding community. People might roll their eyes at that, but this game makes it as easy as installing a DLC to obtain. If you want to play on a multiplayer server that requires mods, you just connect to the listed server and it auo-installs them for you. You want to install a whole new campaign to try in single player mode, just grab one from the workshop. There are servers and worlds that have been around since the initial release of the game more than two decades ago, and over those years they've done nothing but improve and expand, making them huge to explore. ...

The graphics is dated. The game is repetitive and long. After completing 1/2 of the second chapter, it started feeling like a chore.

We really need more games like this. Being able to download or make any module you want in a multiplayer system is awesome

Ah, a shadowy assassin of venerable age and formidable physique, draped in prime Victorian finery, with a magnificent beard flowing like a whispered legend. Though never truly having played Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition in the traditional sense, I once ventured into a persistent world expecting shadows, intrigue, and silent strikes. Instead, I was besieged by elven femboys weaving enchantments, orcish futanari warriors brandishing grotesque vigor, and a general tide of “hoes” parading about with unrelenting thirst. It was a carnival of chaos, far removed from the solemnity I cherished. Ever silent, with a regal countenance, I endured, watching with growing dismay. In truth, I was disgusted, and I no longer play—nor have any wish to return. Still, I recommend the game for its strong single-player campaign and storytelling—where one can carve a path through darkness without distraction. If you like Knights of The Old Republic, but want it to be set in Faerun, play this game. You can definitely feel Bioware made this lol

Coming from the Original Baldur's Gate world I am always interested in RPG's that are in that Forgotten Realms universe and that follow DnD type rules. This game took a bit of getting used to, but once I settled in it has been a fun romp. I am a melee fighter forever and standing toe to toe with monsters and enemies is my jam and this game satisfies that with good armor and weapons choices. TONS OF POTIONS! Still need to have some lock picking and trap disarming abilities though bc the Henchmen you choose should enhance or compliment your fighting style. Enjoy!
