yea, not a lot here. After you discover the machines aren't dangerous, this game loses 90% of it's charm. Also, I feel like I this game should have been called "Riding My Bike to Ikea Simulator". And that's basically what this game is. Oh and don't worry about the story, because there isn't one. So much potential, but it only reaches maybe 30% of what it could have.

User Reviews
Welp, the time has come to write a review. And it's not a good one. Lets head straight to what's good and what went wrong And before anyone comments about my playtime, I was majorly stuck in the second territorry you ever go to because going anywhere else was not compelling enough. Finished the game once, could never do it again due to how much of a slog it is (was mostly just staying for dakka or friends who were pulling me back into it). First, the bad: [olist] [*] Bugs. There are a lot of them. Machines becoming invisible and non-interactable at all, a lot of places to get stuck in, enemies getting stuck, enemies getting forever suspended in air during spawn, enemy corpses providing cover to enemies (you can't shoot through corpses of enemies, but they sure as shit can do that to you). The worst bug yet is with base defense where you gain nothing for the entire defense regardless if you did it or if you failed (only loot from corpses is what you can get). [*] Crashes. Coop is very ...
Positives: .) Beautiful graphics .) Super atmosphere, .) fun (in the beginning) / chill (later) Negatives: .) too much loot / always overencumbered/overstocked (my inner loot-goblin wants to store it all, but there is too little space) .) clothing system .) lacking enemy variety .) once fear of the enemy is gone, there is nothing holding you back from suiciding .) UI-Lvlup-Bug from 2020 still exists
Generation Zero is a survival, exploration, and stealth fps game set in 1980s Sweden following its total defense strategy and civilian arming, with a twist. Sweden is overrun with hostile robots eerily reminiscent of the beautiful artistic works of Simon Stålenhag. You must navigate the apocalyptic landscape of a shattered country, uncover the mystery behind the robots origins, and fight back for the chance to live to see another day. The bots are not like the robots of today, they’re quick, nimble, and boast large numbers, excessive firepower, and deceptively high intelligence at times. While they start out with simple 4 legged runners that eerily emulate the robots of today, but you’ll soon encounter everything from “harmless” scout drones, to the intriguing lumbering harvesters, to fast and deadly hunters specifically designed to track you down like prey. You are no longer at the top of the food chain, and their hunger is insatiable. There is a huge wealth of content in t...
really cool co- op game and concept. except it got to the point where most the enemies are basically titan robots that you need 1000+ rocket launcher shots to kill them and the fact that the game is just so fucking massive. we got to the point where you discover the map and realize that its just way too much fucking work and commitment.
MXT bloat. $120 for all the dlc on top of the base price. Not very solo friendly.

if you gave this game a good review, you are a rtrded
is fun at first co.op is bad game needs coop to be fun xp grind
its a cool game and a cool idea, however the community asked for increases in carry weight or the OPTION of increasing carry weight in many ways so they can roam with all their weapons. Even just storing them all in one place and carrying one at a time is cool. That is not the case unfortunately for this game. I would've played it more if i could store a couple different kits and their respective ammo's but even the STORAGE is limited to one single box and very few kg's of weight in that box. This limited storage capacity in combination with all the weapons/resources/ammo/attachment weights in game make it very hard to play after a few hours. Especially when all the DLC's are focused on new weapons, new ammo types, and new items that ALL HAVE WEIGHT. Honestly I am just frustrated I cant have a sniper, pistol and rocket launcher at the same time to run around and have different options to deal with robots. Overall it is a decent game but if your going to disregard what your commun...
