DO NOT BUY. Currently ( 10/16/17 ) the game isn't launching anymore. And before that the game was really broken, with almost every function not working as expected. ALL the skills upgrades description aren't showing anymore ( so you got no clue what are they doing, and the icons aren't even indicative as to what the upgrade is supposed to do ). If you unequip an item from someone you cannot equip it to anyone else ( or reequip it on the same guy ) because the game think that item is still equipped. This bug has been reported from the start and wasn't corrected. The active battle skills aren't working most of the time. But it's ok, because healing one of your guy for 37 HP when everyone is way over 5000 isn't usefull either. Even with upgrade these skills are useless, cost too much to upgrade, minimal effects and the battle are so short that these skills will not matter anyway. There's a fonction to " use " one character to boost another. But it's broken too, the guy used remain in y...

Game actually looks like it could be fun. It is broken as all can be though. Somehow launching it the first time actually crashed steam... go figure. Then the game was making my computer scream in pain. I have i7, gtx1080. 32gb ram but something in the way they coded it was seriously stressing my rig into making noise. Whiny fan or HDD spin noise. It is like an android level graphics game so.... yeah. Any time you press "esc" like to try to go to a menu? No, that closes the game completely. Like quits. Finally, during only my second city capture fight, the characters just stopped moving. Frozen in place. Spells still worked, but the game completely forgot it was supposed to be working correctly. All of this happened in the first 2 minutes. I had to fire the game back up and pray it ran a full five minutes and didn’t brick my machine just so I could write this review and save you from making the mistake of buying this. Refund. However, I would consider rebuying if they ever made ...
Plays like a Pay to Play, you've got to wait for your buildings to collect money. It's very repetitive too, I guess it's been free before this game came to Steam... I didn't play it through yet, but it becomes more boring and boring. That boring that I didn't log in for a whole week, came back to collect 300k gold. Instaskill my heroes 20 lvls up, almost flew through the second area (not flying because all that clicking and making the same decisions and buying buildings all over again was frustrating). If they bring it back to free, I'd recommend it.
I just wanna write a review for those people who doubt whether to take this game or not. Looking at mixed reviews, I'm gonna give you an answer - do not read this garbage from whiners and just buy it. Just do it! What? Not enough? Okay, I'll explain it to you. I seriously stuck in this game, I can't say that it struck me with graphics or a complex gameplay, but everything in it somehow easy and concise. An interesting story line, quite understandable goals and tasks in the game. If you don't like to spend hours analyzing complex mechanics of large RPGs, like me, and just want to enjoy the game process, this is just for you. I started with a small number of heroes, captured cities bit by bit, built them up, got different clothes for it, and chose which character they would be most effective for, along the way I trained all the characters. Yes, it just appeals to me, I dunno. I tried many tactics and combinations of different characters, and eventually came to the tactics of the characte...
I wouldnt recommend this game at all. Its a bad mobile port Some parts are not translated so I think the port was done in a rush There is almost no gameplay. You have no influence on any battle besides clicking on a spell (very boring) There is nothing to do in this game besides the battles which are automatic The game doesnt work if you have steamoverlay turned on This is my first negative review, normally if I dont like a game I dont bother to write a review, but this "game" is really bad
Clearly a free game where money accumulates over time. This paid version doesn't work very well.
The developers are actively busy improving the game to make it more enjoyable for the players. At the Community Hub I could also see that the developers responds quickly with solutions where players had encounter problems. I found the heroes and game art quite beautiful and entertaining. The steam achievements and game goals are very attainable, at around 70 hours of game play I got 100% of the steam achievements. The game also have an interesting story line. I am currently at 149 Hours of game play and would like to play it some more as I do enjoy the game. At 500 hours I still like the game.
This game is repetitive and glitchy. I've played many hours just to try to get the last achievement (since it didn't take long to get the rest of them). But I underestimated how much repetitive grinding it would take. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone. There's about 20 minutes of "gameplay" if you could call it that. The first gameplay area is the exact same as the second, third, fourth, and 30th gameplay area. Some of the glitches: In the training, there's nothing to indicate how many free points you have for the day. In the training, the gold costs are truncated so you don't see how much stuff actually costs. In the battles, the spell icons don't actually indicate when they're ready. They supposed to fill at different rates (different number of hits) but they all fill at the same rate. You often need to try to start a quest mutiple times before it will go. If you try to build things in the captured towns too quickly (before the first building syncs to the server), it will ...
Erik's Review:
Hero Rush: Mad King So I just finished 100% of this game after 13 hours and I finally wanted to post my review. It feels like a mobile game ported to PC which isn't bad but it has this kind of vibe to it. Story is okay but repeats itself after a few hundred castles (I think I played three or four times through it). Some of the negative things I have to say is that this game sometimes misses description text for buttons, sometimes text is in the wrong language (Russian or Chinese) so it's a gamble what to click. Conclusion:

Steam Achievements - YES
Steam Trading Cards - YES
Being Able to get 100% in a decent amount of time - YES
The normal price of 4,99€ is ...okay. I'd recommend you wait until it is on sale. This game is just overall okay. If you want to get another perfect game and want to invest 10-15 hours: go for it. But don't expect to be thrilled and blown away. This game ...
First off, you have zero control over the battles. Nearly all battles are over before you can cast a single spell. They rush in, kill each other, and it's over, in as fast as you see in the video. Those are entire battles. The game is fun for about an hour. Couldn't possibly be easier. There is ZERO challenge. Money builds up while you are gone, so after a day, you have more money than you know what you can do with. You can use money to upgrade your heroes to ten times the level of things you are fighting, though you don't even need to do that for the battles not to be any challenge at all. There is no "exploration". You start attackign one city, then you get to attack the one next to it, and so on. "Story line" is anything but compelling. Plots or "choices" that come up have zero thought behind them, last until next turn then end one way or another with no real consequence. All together, a beautiful game engine that could have been used to make an amazing game but is in...
