The Song of Saya

this game ruined my life! i'm 39 years old, unemployed and spend most of my time playing video games, especially visual novels. one day i assumed my mother was not home and i was playing this game with my room unlocked. there was a particular scene where saya and fuminori did some nasty nsfw things to the girl that has a crush on fuminori. i was really enjoying it and really focused on the game, but i didnt notice my mother was taking the laundry in my room and cleaning my room because i was playing with headphones in! my mother was very shocked and told me i need to get mental help (and she refuses to pay for it!) or leave the house. getting a job is to pay for mental help is no option for me, so now she gave me a 2 week notice to leave the house!

i DID enjoy the story, the music, and most of the artwork but after said story and all 3 endings, i did NOT enjoy the attempt to make the audience sympathize with saya or MC. it was genuinely unbearable after everything they had done together playing with the patch is probably a grave mistake. the extra CGs just made everything more distasteful for me, especially seeing how saya appears as a literal child. i understand that they are there so you understand just how bad the mentality of certain characters are but... i think i would have had a better experience without the patch and liked the game more for what it was

Game is so good it makes it hard to enjoy other VNs cause they are barely 50% of what this game is. 10/10 tanbo is wife ps. use jast patch

Ngl I do think some of the gore is overdone just for shock purposes and to reel in the edgelords. Otherwise, it's a solid vn with an interesting plot and characters, I enjoyed the variety of choices you can make and how some of them are polar opposites which can create different endings. I like Saya in the sense of the creation of her. I loved the character progression and slowing revealing her true self which still has a sense of uncertainty in the end. If you're into vns and don't mind the gore I would recommend it, and it's a fairly short game. And oh If you think you relate to Saya you're and freak and a weirdo!! :33

[spoiler]I genuinely can't tell if the SV in this game is used intentionally to expose the men in the game as the real monsters compared to Saya, or if the dev is a creep that doesn't know how to write female characters. The psychological aspects of the game kept me intrigued as I played, but I would never recommend it. [/spoiler] Saya being a literal child in the game is disturbing...and the game is written from a misogynist perspective making most of the dialogue shallow and self-centred. Edit: Here come the incels in the comments🙄

I love Saya! If you're a normie and not comfortable with disturbing content and s*x scenes then play the censored version. But if you're fine with darker elements then you HAVE to play this game with the uncensored patch.
