About This Game

Dungeons of the Fallen is a fast-paced, boss fight-oriented hack n’slash inspired by games like: Hammerwatch, Gauntlet and Diablo.

Take the role of a member of Empire Magic Support Squad and use your arcane skills to save the world from the Fallen King. You can dive into the dungeons solo or cooperate with up to four friends to create a well balanced team that can face any obstacle. Kill hordes of enemies together or get smashed during challenging and intense boss battles. Collect or craft epic weaponry and build your character as you want with no class restrictions. Whether you want to be a swift archer using frost spells to slow your foes or a fire mage with full armor blowing himself up in the middle of the enemy swarm, you can do it.

The Fallen and their King has awaken to conquer the realm, but the Emperor will sacrifice everything to stop him. Will you be able to prevent the world destruction when the divine and demonic forces collide?

Features

  • Unique and challenging boss fights - Each boss require a different strategy. Learning the attack patterns and adjusting your build is necessary to survive.
  • 40+ unique spells and abilities - create your skillset from six specialties: Destruction, Blessings, Control, Restoration, Melee Combat and Marksmanship.
  • No class system - You can be a healing wizard warrior archer depending on what abilities you choose.
  • 4-player couch coop - the dungeons are designed to bring most fun when playing together. Crowd control, healing and diversing the damage sources do matter.
  • Diablolike randomly generated loot with different levels of rarity.
  • Enchanting system - resources gathered from monsters will help you customize your weapon or armor depending on your needs.

This game is not currently ready for release. I wish it was. The bad script translation I can get over. but the fact that aim is done in weird jumping increments makes it annoying and sometimes impossible to hit your target. Though they seem to be able to shot from any angle, not specific increments like we do. Then there's the fact that sometimes loot and hell even attacks will go through walls. oh sorry, not your attacks just the enemies. I like my games hard and challenging. and I'll play game in alpha phase and expect bugs. but I will not except bugs in a finished game. at least not on this level. You need a game tester badly. and need to take this down because it's not finished. I'm going to see if I can refund it. not wasting $10 on this.

The controls are horrible and awkward and I wanted to give benifit of the doubt to the game and kept stumbling through hitting the right keys but would end up in some random menu. The key mapping for controller is confusing as we;; and all over the place. Another frustrating area is when navigating dialogues from NPC's... instead of being able to scroll through options to continue the communication going or you get to choose X,B, A or Y and its always changing depending how many options there are.. VERY CONFUSING! I see the potential for this game and want to play it but with the controls being extremely frustrating and not even adhering to common standard mappings of controller for other similar games it makes it very difficult to play and makes the game experience dismal.

in terms of gameplay and mechanics, to me it's a mix of Exiled Kingdoms, Secrets of Grindea, DIn's Curse, 9th Dawn II and Crawlers & Brawlers - albeit arguably shorter than any of these titles in terms of content. some features: - exp based leveling. - multiple skill trees: pick and choose the type of character you wish to be. no class restrictions, but sort of illusion of choice as masteries (separate from skills) pigeonhole options from a viability/efficiency perspective. - limited slots (4, not including potion slots) on the action bar encouraged wildly different builds between my wife and I based on how we envisioned our characters should play. - WASD movement + mouse targeted combat for p1; gamepads for all other ports, I think. - varied boss battles and instanced, small-scale dungeon diving. - light itemization + crafting system. - around 5-10 hour campaign. no end game or replayability features at this time, although NG+ is a feature in the works planned for Nov/Dec. really...

This game is honestly fantastic beautiful nostalgic art that is from the 1980s/1990s gauntlet titles the game story reminds me of D&D quest its really good this game has the potential to blow hero siege outta the water now that hero siege went from indie diablo 2 to indie diablo 3 2012. When i first ran into problems in the game i contacted the creator and it was fixed in hours the guy is a gamer for the gamer's not the corporate bull crap you see today the gameplay is fast fluid and responsive the skill system is great but i do hope they add more skills and higher loot drop rates which could be me just coming off of Borderlands 3 so take what you will outta that i just love loot hack and slash games the bosses look like something outta zelda so if you like hack and slash games with diverse builds and options as well as loot with a cool D&D storyline a simple one at that then buy the game it helps that the price is a steal.

In general the game was quite good. Decent action gameplay and a good amount of difficulty. The bosses were pretty different and interesting. Pros - Difficulty, the game is quite difficult and requires some good strategy. - There are a number of stat and gear choices which allows you to focus on different types of stats. - Interesting varied boss fights. - Controls were good especially after fixing the arrow aiming issue early on. Neutral - The game was fairly linear with a few side paths. This isn't bad for some, but I like more open world games. Cons - There were a number of skills I couldn't get before beating the game. Perhaps future content will allow me to get all of them. - I wish there were more options when it came to choosing skills and masteries.

Usual story (we are adept who try to save world) Game have some rpg elements like simple loot and enchanting Complete this game alone especially last boss in 1 act and first boss in 2 act can be a little hard for someone After level 7 game become a little easy but it's depend on your build ofc I'm use a health puddle, dash and regen to complete this game alone P.S For someone who stuck on twin bro bosses try to use crosswbow and maxing your damage with enchant and use a poison enchant on your weapon.Try to kill first fire bro and better go on them in 7 character lvl Abour librarian it's be better to use shield ability to bounce the axe In all game i'm only found 1 bug with Tarneko in 2 town Proc Simple gameplay and a little hardcore if you play alone Con For first time 7 lvls it's can be a little grindy after time grind become more easily Some boss can be a little hard to kill (twins brothers and librarian)

A very good game. Interesting boss fights, some very hard but satisfying. I really like the various spell system in which there is no fixed path, but allows the player to create his own style of play. I think the game is worth the money.
