For PC players, the controls are just horrible. There are many bugs in the game, glitches, and the aiming mechanics are just horrible. Certain levels can't be played on full graphics options, the game will basically crash. Graphics are fine, Story is fine, levels are fine, puzzles are fine. 6/10 for a Tomb Raider game

Replaying in 2025, this isn't great actually. Very linear, too much 2000s action, shooting dudes, and gimmicky boss fights. The tombs themselves are quite simple, so there's really no challenge here. Still, it's a relic of its time, and only a few hours long. Worth getting for a few $$ so you can play Underworld.
Kinda suprised that Lara's death animations begins here not in second restart of the series. Character control is bad, similar to Resident Evil tank control, i doubt if i would plug in gamepad it would play better, camera especially during platforming is dreadfull. Many bugs, game crashed with Nxt Gen options enabled. But, it looks ok, and even without proper tutorial, it is easy to understand how puzzles work. Story was bit boring, but i liked Lara's character, well she's the only person with one. It reminded me of Batman Arkham games, maybe because grapple-hook and a fair amount of moves even if they are more style over function. If you have more than average tolerance to older games you will have fun, they don't make action/puzzle/platform games like that anymore.
Bad shooting mechanics and controls. It's a bit buggy but enjoyable
I've bought all the Tomb Raider games.
Put your hands on the table. There are no more triangles.

Disclaimer: Game was refunded because I accidentally bought a Steam copy of a hard copy that I own. Review: Tomb Raider was the second "reboot" of the franchise after Angel of Darkness was received poorly, and it was highly influenced by the Angelina Jolie films. On the plus side, this is when the franchise became more cinematic and played more like an action movie while striking a balance with the puzzle-based game play that Tomb Raider became known for. Lara is a real bad ass here and at her mental and physical peak (like a female James Bond), and there are some levels that are absolutely cool, like the Tokyo level. Environments change radically from level to level, so there is very little monotony going from location to location. Every level feels fresh, new and different. Lastly, Croft Manor, a popular Easter egg level where you can train Lara's jumping and swimming skills, never looked better! With that being said, Legend isn't without its issues. Something kind of happens ar...
solid game that holds up to this day
One of the best games i ever played. My father suggested me that i should buy this game like 10 days ago. I really did not think much about it so it did what he told me. The game is nostalgic and got a beautiful story, it got tons of puzzles and everything looks like a mystery. True master piece.
