About This Game

WORLD WAR Z: AFTERMATH

Experience 6 new zombie-ravaged missions from around the world and a heart-pounding new perspective with Aftermath’s immersive new First-Person Mode.

About the Game

World War Z is a heart-pounding co-op third-person shooter for up to 4 players featuring swarms of hundreds of zombies that has now captivated over 25 million players. Based on the Paramount Pictures film, World War Z focuses on fast-paced gameplay while exploring new storylines from around the world.

Humanity is on the brink of extinction. From New York to Moscow to Japan and Jerusalem, the undead apocalypse continues to spread. As the end looms, a hardened few band together to defeat the horde and outlive the dead.

Battle swarms of hundreds of zombies

The Swarm Engine™ seamlessly renders hordes of zombies in incredible firefights. Advanced gore systems offer gruesomely satisfying action. In-game Zombie Hordes behave like real crowds, getting stuck in narrow corridors and climbing on top of each other to reach players on higher levels. Hordes become increasingly more difficult to defeat and behave like single entity bosses as players progress through the game.

Coop story-driven campaigns

Survive around the world, as unique groups tell their stories of perseverance.

Choose Your Class

Level up to 8 unique classes – Gunslinger, Hellraiser, Slasher, Medic, Fixer, Exterminator, Dronemaster and the new Vanguard class in WWZ: Aftermath – each with their own unique perks and play styles.

Deep Progression

Grow stronger – unlock powerful weapon upgrades and level your character class to take on greater challenges.

PVPVZ

Fight other players for survival – several intense Player vs Player vs Zombies game modes complement the coop campaigns.

Really bad experience with getting the game to work, I spent a long time troubleshooting to make the game work but the game recorded it as my playtime. When I raised a refund request I got rejected three time with same reply that I went past the time limit. Disappointed in steam support for not manually checking the requests even after three times.

Honestly dont recommend this game. Whole thing is riddled with bugs, both UI and gameplay wise. Devs try to milk this game as much as possible without providing any support for the game iself so it feels.

Game is alright, special makes it interesting with the upgrade class tree. but the bots are hella ass. They do follow but when it comes to defending events they stop at their own spot.

I love this game on Xbox and rebought it on steam only to discover that the screen flickers on the menu and in game which makes playing the game impossible. So beware of that in case you guys want to buy it at full price or on sale

L4D? Nah. This one is much better. Good physics, engaging campaign, hard challenges, aggressive hordes esp on the high difficulty levels. However experienced connectivity issues several times. Therefore eventually uninstalled. WWZ2? Proly no. The game looks modular in terms of architecture, meaning that devs can extend the campaign and challenges count in future, so no need for the sequel yet imho.

Really fun, sorta grindy, recommended for all players, from new time gamers to hardcore-COD-coated-FPS players. Mixes the WWZ movie and the novel really well, good animations, but lacking good cutscene animations. 10/10
