About This Game

'Hero of Light VR' is an action VR game with an eastern fantasy background.

The ancient continent in the Eastern realms are experiencing a holocaust. Priests of an occult order have breathed life into ancient demons, summoning them into calamitous destruction across the lands. There remain only a few with the will and skill to meet this gathering threat “the Guardians”.

You, are one of the few that remain as a source for hope in these increasingly decimated times, a warrior sect with the ability and conscience to prevent complete, ruinous disaster.
The spells of thunder, fire sword and enchanted blade … these armaments combined with your martial skill just may give us a chance to face this threat.

When the great evil appears before you, do not retreat. The light of the Buddha will enchant you, empowering you against the darkness.

The World Of Legend VR: Episode 1 Includes:
 • 3 Types Of Weapons to Use In Battle.
 • tutorial Section
 • 1 map level with multiple enemy types and a boss.
 • Global leaderboards ranking players according to their in-game performance.

URL Review - http://www.htcvivegamereviews.com/all-review-list/99-cents-get-world-legend-vr-episode-1-review/ Let's Play FULL - http://www.htcvivegamereviews.com/all-video-list/99-cents-vr-game-world-legend-vr-episode-1/ 8/10 I have entered The World of Legend VR and left victoriously. World of Legend VR is a very asian stylized action game that has an authentic, polished feeling despite it costing a mere 99 cents. When you begin the game, everything is in Simplified Chinese but you can switch to English before proceeding. You are presented with a short tutorial and go into the game which plays like a mix of wave shooter and melee combat. You are given a shield, a range weapon and a sword – all that suck up mana which you’ll run out of quick(as I learned). After you finish this level, The World of Legend VR will be completed as that is the one and only level. My total playtime was about 15 minutes or so – including the tutorial time. So let’s get over the goods – Visually ...
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Note for Oculus users: game works, except you're facing sideways by default I finished the game in 17 minutes on one playthrough. It's simply a wave shooter with magical spells (2), a shield, and and a sword (+ flaming sword). I believe there are 4 enemy types. One is simply melee. The other is a flying monster with a simple projectile attack. The other is a smaller flying monster with a weirder projectile. Finally, the boss fight where everything is thrown at you, including the boss. You're on a platform. You can dodge left or right or crouch to evade attacks. You can also use a shield to evade attacks or shoot the projectiles. The graphics are decent. The sounds are okay. Honestly, the game ended just as it was starting to get monotonous for me. So is 17 minutes worth of this entertainment worth .99 cents? I think so. But just barely in my book. Mostly because of the unique assets. The combat wasn't anythin...

Well you get what you pay for. Basically this game lets you know how it feels to do battle in a game like world of warcraft. Boring is fuck. The game looks cool, obviously there is a lot of work in the environment. But there is no technique. Just swing your sword around, two hits kills an enemy, one if you use firesword. just hit them fast enough before they attack you, you don't even need the shield you get. Flying enemies have to be fought with magic lightning balls, but without aiming, you just hold your hand somewhere and hope it hits. It's also really short i did it in 15 mins, the highscore is 6:30, that's all there is to it. Sure you can do it faster any time, but would you really feel satisfied? If this was a non VR game, it would have been a button masher, and it's still one, you just have to do a shit load of more movement to hit the button. Again, for one dollar, don't expect much more...
