User Reviews
A decent, but not outstanding HOPA game. Most of the visuals are very nice, and there are some fun concepts, but the game feels a bit short. It also feels more linear than usual because most of it takes place in three completely separate locations with a limited number of rooms. That said, it's pretty and it's relaxing. Worth getting with a reasonable sale. There are Steam achievements, which is nice. Note: The game features a doll companion, as in the previous installment. She's cute, and the outfits you collect are cute, but the associated gameplay feels contrived.
Better-than average for this genre. I'd give it an 8/10. Not sure why I've seen some bad reviews. It followed basic format of a HOG, with a couple of additions. (The Harlequin was silly, but was a small part of the game, so it didn't bother me.) Most of the mini-games were not just the standard ones you see over and over. (And some were annoying as is always the case with these games.) The story and flow was decent. There was some back and forth so it wasn't boringly serial, but it was not outrageous like some games. (Finished areas were closed off.) It has a variety of hidden object scenes, some that I hadn't seen before. The only real con is that it was a little short. (I expect the game to last 5-8 hours, though most don't. If it's under 5 hours, I give it a thumbs down unless I got it at a steep discount. This one was just above 5 hours for me on easy and skipping 2-3 mini-games.) The previous game, Shattered Soul, was quite good as well. (That one was one of my favorite HOGs.)
The story is very silly. It's the modern world but your PC seems to have no issue with the fact that she's been called in to help piece a goddess back together. Also your PC has a doll that comes to life and helps you out. It's pretty weird. And at first I thought the achievements were bugged, but once I finished the game they all popped up, so I was able to complete everything. All in all I would say it was worth $4, definitely wouldn't pay more than that. But I had fun :)
The achievements are easy, although two do not unlock where they should. Good art and decent. All the HOPs are easy. Most mini-games are eay also.
Entertaining and easy going. I liked the plot and the special features. Recommended.
it has puzzles and a great story
the Game crashed just before the ending
