This game, despite being in Early Access, has the polish and fun factor reminiscent of Nintendo games. Everything, from the lovely cartoonish visuals, to really enjoyable sound design. The game plays smooth and tight, and is just really, really fun to play. The best way I could describe it is a mix between Rocket League and shelshock, while only taking the best aspects of those games and turning it into a wonderful passion project. Overall, this is definitely worth picking up!
"Searching for game... Time elapsed: 30 minutes" Well, it is a very fun PvP game assuming that you have someone to play with (preferably more than 2 people). Sure you could go to discord and find a few loyal players or play with family, which is a nice way of saying that multiplayer is dead. Sure seems like there were only 2 people in matchmaker because I had the same opponent for 5 games. It kind of reminds me what happened to Invisigun Heroes, another unique PvP game with a multiplayer system that can't keep its players. Even the round design is counterintuitive here. Each time you die the game makes a long pause for a map change, instead of keeping up the pace, and then it does not even give the option for a rematch. There is some insignificant progression just by playing PvP, you can unlock gameplay mutators and few other trinkets, but Treadnauts is not designed to keep you playing and coming back for more. I almost wish there was just one team vs team mode with l...
Treadnauts is the kind of game that hits all the bases. Everything I want from couch-gaming can be satisfied after playing just one match. >Pros -It's flawless movement mechanics make the game feel buttery smooth with a controller in hand. -The art style is unforgettable, it's suave and leaves a smile on your face. -Jazz never felt so smooth, as in, the music is dope as heck and sticks in your head like a child's favorite cartoon theme song. -Caring developers who update the game regularly with relevant and meaningful changes. -Tons of maps too keep players engaged and gameplay fresh. -High skill ceiling that creates a competitive atmosphere. -"Easy to learn, hard to master" style game that makes it fun for both casual and competitive gamers. >Cons Every game has little flaws, this game is no exception, it's still in early access and I'm impressed by how far it's come from its release. So far, there is nothing inherently bad about the game. >Summary Treadnauts is a real stand out ga...
Very polished for an EA game. Great, frenetic local multiplayer. Excited to try online multiplayer but sadly could not find anyone to play with. The Target Test mode is also a nice addition for anyone looking for some laid back solo fun. Heartily recommend this for all tank aficionados.
Guys this game is completely online and there are no player on steam. If you buy it you can just practice on your own. There is even no single player mode !
When they say Treadnauts is already beautiful and polished, they aren't wrong — this isn't your stereotypical early access game. Controls aren't hard to learn but can be a bit wonky at times, for instance with how it treats going upside down you can catch yourself accidentally going the wrong way. Besides that, everything's smooth and responsive. Sound design is on point, and stylistically it catches your eye. Great game to play w/ friends.
Great Idea And Concept, The Reason I did not recommend this game is beacause since its new, not many people are playing the game and its only based of a multiplayer game mode. I have not even been in one single match with online players cause of the lack of the community of this game. If they did add a more "fun" campain mode i would recommend this game more. All im trying to say now is that dont buy this game now. Wait for like 2-3 months when the game gets more popular with players.
The game is freat but it needs bots or more players. Ill buy it again in year maybe when there are more players.
To be honest, this game is a design marvel. My only problem with it is that the company behind it has no other games. I'm really looking forward for more titles from them.
