I don't know if this game is actually fun or not but.... There are virtually NO SETTINGS you can make. I mean none! I cannot play any game without inverting the mouse. Believe me, it's very easy to program. This game doesn't offer that option NOR any options. This could be fun but come on... No settings! Refund is the only option here...

Extremely boring. I don't know what to say, I mean the game is cheap. But there is almost nothing to do. The dungeon is bare, and the combat, swinging a sword in VR is not even connected to your hand, but merely an automatic animation whenever you click. I have not found ANY way to alter any settings either. There was just nothing to pull me to play further.
I loved playing the game !! Some Kryptcrawler hints for tough parts of the game **SPOILERS***** The switches "on" or triggered position, is down. Tomb of emperor Lodric level There is a rombhus on a wall here, you have to shoot it later after you get the bow in Lower prison to get some treasure. After opening the door with 2 crystals, kill Lodric batting back the balls he fires with your shield. Repeat, and eventually he dies. Take the orb from his throne to the pedestal in the front room of that floor, touch the ball to transport (to upper prison). In upper prison. Door to Lower prison (with the giant hand warden) needs 2 keys, i think red and purple. If it doesnt open, teleport back to boss king level, come back and door is now open. The bow is there somewhere. Lower prison Warden level, where this big skeleton hand grabs you, and a white hand icon gets printed in each square where the hand got you, The dintel of the entrance has one hand touch already. There are gold ...
Saw this game had no reviews, so I decided to take one for the team and buy it to check it out. I've only got 35 minutes in to it, however here's the list: Pros: It brings me back to the old school days of the Playstation 1 in terms of gameplay. There is no hand holding, you've gotta find the switches and solve the puzzles on your own, and I like that. Graphics are reminiscent of the PS1 days, but obviously more updated and polished. Without having made it very far in, the only downside I have found is that it feels like it needs small tweaks (certain mobs won't fight you, while the same type ((spiders)) will fight you) kind of weird, but not a problem. Bottom line: for the price, it's good, if you've got a spare 10$ and want a grid-based old school feeling game, get this! TLDR: good stuff for 10$ think of Kingsfield for VR, if it were grid-based!
Game good. Compatibility and support appalling. Don't buy this game with a vive. Revive doesn't work. You won't get it running in 3d or VR, and the only way of playing it in 2d is with Vorpx. The game automatically starts steamVR every time launched in 2d, leading to crashes. The devs have been told and told. Check the forums if you don't believe me. They aren't doing anything. They released this with exclusive occulus support (on steam!?!?!?!?!) and won't even let you play it on your monitor if you have a vive!
Just very very good (I'm not playing in VR). It's old skool and it is a simple RPG (it's not "Eye of the Beholder 2" what is in mij opinion one of the best old skool RPG games ever, but Kryptkrawler gave me the same feeling). The style looks like "Dragon's Lair (3D) return to the Lair". It seems to be very simpel especially in the begining but it become better and better. For me 9 out of 10.
DO NOT BUY , no chraracter progression, engine suck , poor graphicr , poor control , no real story, very limited control of inventory. this game a deception in evething and an aberration for dungeon crawler games.
Not enough variety overall, not enough weapons, story is boring, environments are blend, etc....
I really wanted to like KryptCrawler. It's an ok title with some bugs, no manual and no dev response. (I know it's a small team so I'm giving it a positive for the work they've done) I had to abandon the game after being stuck for hours searching the annoying Agorak boss. The interesting part was the Warcraft style graphics. (and the giant spider / Lodric) I hope the devs liven up and send a patch.
Althougt it's only 2.7 hours I've starting to play KryptCrawler, emotions and impresion are already very high! While crawling, have that pleasant feeling, combined with curiosity and a bit of tension. Feel yourself as a real adventurer, and that is can be called great atmosphere or strong vibes of genre (choose which definition you like most or give your own). I wonder why Crypt Crawler game-class is long forgotten, and why there so few games of discussed style? Why only indie developers are care about it, but not developers of middle/big/AAA products? Questions, so many questions... -------------- Anyway, KryptCrawler takes 10 Brilliant Swords from 10 possible. Small flaws are not worth to mention. My personal respect to authors with the best wishes!
