This is a fun three player co-op with my buddies. Platforming is great, puzzles are well thought of. All three characters are unique and we are dependent on eachother which is a co-op mechanic I have always like in co-op. Graphics are vibrant and beautiful. 2.5D aspect feels like its part of foreground and not just a background static visual.

Played with my girlfriend. Was okay, sometimes nice, sometimes a bit repetetive. But for some reason it's not possible to save your progress at the end on act IV and V. I cannot tell you how annoying it was to start the last act 3 times only to do it all again in the next session. After the 4th time we deleted it without finishing. I officially hate this now. Please manage the option to save your progress, or at least gimme a code to unlock the single chapters in an act (so I dont have to start all over again) - they figured this out in the early 90's, why don't you have it now?
Trine 4 is what you get when you merge all the best parts of the previous 3 entries. It features the reworked controls introduced in Trine 3, but updated for the 2D perspective. Co-op is more balanced than in previous games and still works flawlessly. So far it's the best Trine game and it's one of the best co-op games to play with people that don't really play games. DLC is well worth the price/time as it features some of the best levels.
Steam Deck
Just like the previous 3 games Trine 4 works amazingly on the deck. I have played through the whole game with the deck docked to TV and it was perfect.
I played this game a while ago, and I loved it. It's perfect to play with friends. You will have a lot of fun doing platforming and solving very entertaining situations as a team. The graphics are beautiful, the story is enjoyable, and the environments are truly lovely. All the puzzles were quite fun for us and had an appropriate level of difficulty. I recommend this game 100%.
I am new to the game and it looks amazing up to the knight where I have to battle with the boss. I do not want to fight, I do not like RT fighting games and controls for fighting are cluncky. I just wanted to play a cool looking puzzle platformer. And there is no way to skip that. Just dissapointed.
So far this is the best Trine game I have played. I am so happy they improved the mage's controls (which was annoying in the 1 and 2). The puzzles are always exciting and each level introduces a new mechanic that prevents the game from feeling boring.
simple and fun i recommend it
The best one so far
