After 8,000 Hours in VR, This Is The Best Game I've Ever Played. This is not an exaggeration. Downward Spiral is the single most impactful and breathtaking experience I have had in virtual reality. It's a crime that this game isn't more famous. The visuals are stunning and hold up incredibly well despite its age, creating a massive, immersive world that constantly delivers that "wow" factor we all chase in VR. The gameplay is perfectly balanced—the puzzles are challenging enough to be engaging but never impossible, and the story is so well-crafted that it genuinely made me cry by the end. It's a 5-6 hour journey that feels like a true adventure, and you can even bring up to three friends along for the ride in co-op. This review isn't sponsored. It's a plea to anyone looking for a masterpiece. Please, give this game a try. Recommendation: Start with the Prologue. It's currently only $2 and will give you the perfect taste of the magic this game holds. 10/10. An absolute ...

In VR, both grabbing and tool use are mapped to the same input (by default, the trigger). When you're empty-handed, pulling the trigger grabs objects. But if you're holding a tool, that same trigger now activates the tool instead. While it makes sense that you can't grab and use a tool at the same time, it feels unintuitive to have the same input change function based on context. Most VR games use grip for holding and trigger for activating, so this setup goes against common expectations and breaks muscle memory. It would be much better if grab and tool use had separate inputs, even if one is disabled contextually. At the very least, please add an option to rebind these actions. The current setup makes the game feel awkward to play in VR on a Meta Quest headset.
