The only part of this game worth playing is the main story. Side missions are repetitive and add nothing to the experience. Game play is alright but it is pretty much just shoot and walk no way to really take cover.

It's Janky, sometimes it's broken. Most times it shows the beautiful aesthetic and other times it'll have some police officer in a tree telling you to "HALT! POLICIA!". I love this game
Very cool
I had some initial nostalgia towards this game, but I can't be even bothered to even finish this game. On the the technical side: this game is terrible - everything feels clunky and barely working. The worst thing is the difficulty spike that happens once enemy vehicles armed with explosives spam starts. They stun you and deal 3/4 of a healthbar damage. IT IS PLAYABLE THO (widescreen patch and FPS limiter set to 60)
Ah the classic. Good old GTA with more chaos. The graphics have aged like milk. Wanted to play it for the nostalgia, couldn't even complete the first mission. It feels so janky now. Wouldn't recommend it in 2025. But a great game nonetheless, a long time ago.
Throwback gold.
Coming from the third Just Cause, this is a bit rough. The side missions are lame but taking over a few settlements is fun and gets enough reputation to breeze through main missions. Mainly I enjoy flying helicopters around the map and killing bad guys. A few of the last missions are gonna require a few restarts since the game barely tells you what to do so improv is required as you'll get melted by explosives and vehicles. Fortunately theres a glitch where you can jack an enemy helicopter while trying to parachute so that makes the final missions pretty easy. Just remind yourself it's from 2005 if you're determined to play the series. The best part is that this is definitely the worst of the series. Onwards to JC 2.
