Modern stealth games hold your hand. Blood Money pushes you down a flight of stairs and tells you to make it look like an accident. This game is a pure, unadulterated sandbox of sociopathic creativity. Every level is a complex puzzle where the solution might be poisoning a donut, rigging a stage pyrotechnics display, or simply waiting for the perfect moment to shove a man off a balcony. The plan is always "Silent Assassin." The reality is usually a chaotic domino effect that starts with you being spotted through a wall and ends with you, dressed as a birthday clown, frantically bludgeoning a guard with a hammer while "Ave Maria" plays. The controls are a bit clunky and the AI can be psychic one moment and blind the next, but the sheer freedom and satisfaction you get from a perfectly executed, ridiculous plan is timeless. This is the masterclass.

About This Game
Money Talks. Silence Pays. Prepare to Make a Killing. When assassins from Agent 47's contract agency, The ICA, are eliminated in a series of hits, it seems a larger, more powerful agency has entered the fray. Sensing he may be a target, 47 travels to America, and prepares to make a killing.
'Blood Money' system: the cleaner the 'hit' the more money you receive which can be spent on bribing witnesses and police to reduce your notoriety, weapon customisation, specialist equipment and information.
Customisable weapons: modify Agent 47's custom weapons in a variety of ways including sound, recoil, rate of fire, damage, reload speed, accuracy and zoom.
Strong narrative: who is wiping out the ICA and what is their motivation?
New engine: the world of the assassin has never been so interactive or looked so good!
New gameplay techniques: including disarm, distraction, accidents, body disposal, human shield and decoy weapons.
New control and camera system: Agent 47 now moves independently of the camera.
New moves: Agent 47 can now climb, hide, scale ledges and automatically pass low obstacles.
Improved AI: guards will follow blood trails, investigate suspicious items and behaviour. New pathfinder engine provides improved tracking and movement with realistic enemy behaviour and interaction.
Soundtrack by BAFTA-winning composer Jesper Kyd.

Still holds up to this day, do yourself a favor and check this game out(This is the very first hitman game I played, out of the entire franchise) few notes for fixing: browse the game's local files and find "HitmanBloodMoney" as a configuration/setting file open it with a notepad and set the resolution to 1920x1080, after that save the file and right click the file and find "properties" check the box labelled as "Read-only" this prevents the game from resetting into its limited resolution in the ingame settings and the extra launcher Then if use nvdia as your graphics card open the nvidia control panel and set hitman: blood money into max 60fps only, the reason why is because there is a bug in the 1st mission(not prologue/tutorial mission) on the cliffside where it prevents the player from further descending below the cliffside due to high fps making that other escape route completely impassable, there is another alternate route to reach the escape, however I'm not gonna spoil it b...
hands-down best game in the series, with 0 contest. set the standard for the series and is the blueprint to every Hitman game since its release
missions are complex and interesting. for 2006 the graphics are good
Its way too good to not have Acheivements. I do have to say, the fact that Absolution came after this made people appreciate this one a lot more. I have been on a Hitman rewind & my god this one is pretty much perfect. Still holds its own after all these years. Environment, missions, level design, the choices for completion. Its all super neat. And this one doesn't crash or bug out as compared to contracts & the other old ones. Truly peak 47 shenanigans.
AMAZING! Although, I become clueless most of the times, and get caught lol. I am on Mission 5 at the point of writing. And it took me 9 hours. So yeah, fun strategy and stealth game. Love it, 10/10 :)
Solid experience. Obviously very streamlined but plenty of fun.
Funny thing is, most people don’t even know there’s a patch out there that makes the visuals way sharper. Totally changed the experience for me. I followed a step-by-step guide I found — super easy to set up. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199881669152/
As the fourth game of the series, Blood Money introduced many innovative features that influenced later sequels, such as coin tossing for distractions and hiding bodies in containers. However, some interesting features like weapon customization and newspaper summaries were unfortunately not carried over to later games, which was quite a pity. Overall, the gameplay, experience, and graphical quality mark a significant leap forward compared to the last three games. As the first Hitman game I ever played and arguably the most iconic one in the series, it holds a special place as a true classic.
easiest hitman game ever, although dont try codename 47 i hated those missions
