Good game, but lacks content, there are only 4 guns! Ive expected some rpg elements, but its just arcade shoot em up, im 30 minutes in and already finished 2 or 3 chapters of total 9! So campaign lasts for aprox 2 -3 hours if you are not dying constantly (in coop game is quite easy) This game have potential, just add more unlockable guns/classes etc. I dont understand why there are only 9 chapters, they dont seem too detailed, more like procedurally generated, just add more levels, add some goal for us to pursue (unlocks, leveling up, anything!) TL DR If you like Space Pirate Trainer this is your game, else - you can pass or wait for sale (def worth if you got it with good discount) Solid game with lacking content 6.5/10 (if you will add rpg elements and procedurally generated missions i would give it solid 8 or 9 of 10)

I'm recommending this but I have a vive pro with a wireless and have a slight issue. This error is not confirmed but the only way to launch this on my setup is having the vive wireless on, steamvr off, and launching the game from the library vr or regular launcher. It then autoactivated my steamVR and was able to play in VR. THE QUALITY IS THERE FOLKS! DIVE IN. It has 3 ways of locomotion, teleporting, etc. Graphics can be configured to your liking., it is top quality.
This is definitely not worth 40$ in my book. I got the game for 35, and still returned it. This is a glorified wave shooter not a full on gaming experience. I will say that what is there is fun, but there is no real weapon or character progression. The game play is bland and verry same-y. The campaign is pretty shot from what i've played and the game had a hard time running on my beast of a rig. All in all if you can get it for 15-20 buck its fine but if I paid a full 40 and was wanting a real game, id be pissed after the first hour.
Was pretty hyped for this one, unfortunately it uses a very arcade like game system, which doesn't appeal to me at all. Instead of using iron sights, and aiming, you have a floating cursor that shows where you are aiming at all times. It's very immersion breaking for me personally. Likewise the fire fights are more aking to Space Pirate Trainer: floating balls that you deflect with a shield. The graphics seemed a bit rough as well, with a 1080Ti on wireless there was some minor lag at times (might be the wireless, but none of my other games have done this). Not a bad game, but not for everyone. My litmus test,: after 10 minutes do I want more? Or am I just gonna fire up Arizona or Gorn like usual? In this case, Arizona.
Solid game. Beautiful graphics. Bullet hell. Survival and campaign modes (I prefer survival as it then shines as a bit of a wave shooter which lets me just do my thing). Solo and co-op. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nukBhgrhvE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzGvCFZ4Uzs
While the game boasts impressive graphics for a shooter, I've opted for a refund. It might justify its $35 USD price tag in the future, but at the moment, there are superior options available in the VR market for the same investment.
First Impressions: Impressed with the character classes, tether tool with power ups, enemy types, graphics, physics, voice acting, destructable walls, and campaign so far. The way a game makes me feel is an important measure of its quality, and I feel like a super-soldier in the game. Arcade heaven! There are different settings for movement, graphics, audio, etc. It has free locomotion, but it's headset directed only. The DEVs should add controller-directed free locomotion to complete the options. Update: There are not enough saving checkpoints IMO. If you run out of lives, even at the tail end of a mission, you have to play most of the mission again. The game should have at least 4 or 5 checkpoints per mission. So far, the gameplay never really deepens as you progress in the game. So, what is exciting and fun at the beginning begins to wear thin as the game goes on, because there are no real improvements and goals added, such as new weapons, special abilities, improved...
The most important bits first. 1. The gun damage is fine once you realize it's affected by your weapon charge. Meaning you should not use surge unless you know the level is gonna end when your surge ends. 2. Engineer is the best class for single player mode. He has a mix of single target and aoe damage (for dealing with flying enemies). 3. Bullet-Hell (the most difficult setting) provides a good challenge. 4. Give the game a try. If you don't enjoy it, refund. The game up to 2 hours is very similar to the game past 2 hours. Personally, I was so engaged that I didn't even think about the refund timelimit, which is unusual. --- There are many design mistakes that seriously detracted from my enjoyment of the game. 1. For a game that requires you to use cover, the hitboxes are not nearly good enough in terms of shooting out from behind the cover without hitting the cover itself. 2. When the survival and enjoyment of the player is dependent on weapon energy level, you should clearly infor...
A fun shooter experience. Packed with excitement and chances to feel like an action star. Gorgeous visuals.
Shocked this game isn't more popular. Fantastic experience so far. Story is reasonably engaging, production value equals a typical console title, and the gunplay and core mechanics are fantastic. I've only played solo so far and it's already a blast. Can't wait to try it with friends.
