About This Game

Hurl VR starts as a simple throwing simulation and quickly grows into an interactive puzzle game. In order to reach their goal players must throw balls to hit platforms in specific patterns. Platforms have unique properties and machanics that change from chapter to chapter. The game starts with simple static levels and quickly incorporates new mechanics as moving platforms, bouncer platforms and portals.

Physical characteristics of Hurl VR players play huge role in how the game will be experienced. A player of shorter height might find it extremely easy to complete levels that require low and tactical throws, whereas taller ones might find it really challenging and vice versa. By giving each player a completely different experience the game design of Hurl VR makes it not only an interactive puzzler, but a funny party game as well.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/oBjeSE697BA This game works perfectly fine on the Oculus Rift. I finished the whole game in roughly 70 minutes. I experienced zero issues during my gameplay. This whole game is about putting the right trajectory and velocity on the ball to get it to the end goal. In the end, it's a simple physics puzzle game. However, the focus is more on the execution versus actual puzzle solving. The difficulty in this game is just throwing the ball correctly versus "solving" any puzzle. In fact, I only had trouble in one level where I must have done what seemed like 100 throws. It finally went in, but I have no idea how that throw was that much different than several of the other ones I had made prior. There are assists to help you out. One will even show you exactly how you're supposed to make the throw. There are 30 levels in total. Change-ups include moving platforms, platfo...

This game was really well done, it was emersive and fun and well worth the money. I couldnt beleave how accurate the physics were, even taking into account the spin when it bounces. For the devs: I would like to be able to disable the lady who gives you hints, and i would love to see levels where there are more than one solution, maybe have extra pads that dont need to be touched but are needed to complete the level to add an extra layer of challange.

A surprisingly nice game. I don't usually enjoy puzzle VR games, but the physics and simplicity of the game made it really fun. It is short, so the price tag makes sense. Though I do wish there more levels. The graphics are simple but very nice. The game feels very solid and the throwing is perfect. I did beat the game in about half an hour, I might go back and try to get some of the achievements, so maybe 1 hour total of gameplay. I so with there were more achievements and that they were easier to understand and more fun challenges. When it said beat it without trails, I thought it meant the blue trails on the ball. But I guess it meant the green trails from the assists? Either way, I tried to get that achievement and couldn't figure out how to unlock it. Also, maybe I got super lucky, but I beat the final level on my first try. Shouldn't it be harder? I sort of with there were some super extra hard bonus levels. Overall the game had a lot of really hard levels, but now that I got ...

Great presentation with consistent (repeatable) throwing. Doesn't seem to cheat on my behalf - you really have to make the throw!

Quest 3, and could not get past the 3rd or 4th level, even with "assist" mode.

you want to know how Dude Perfect got their precision and ability to try shot 10,000 times to get it right? play this. Ho Lee Schitt is it in need of precision... you WILL need 3 things to get thru this game: 1. a will that can surpass an annoyance worse than Navi from Legend of Zelda. 2. a 10'x10'x8' play area as you will have to move to MANY specific unknown locations. 3. a level of repeatable precision that matches a Machine A.I. Highly recommend this if you believe you can handle the criteria above.

This is a neat little game which is a lot of fun at first BUT the stupid AI voice is so annoying at some point I had to quit this game. There is no fix in sight, Dev has probably already abandoned this game. In this state, save your money.

I absolutely love this game. Super fun, runs super smooth. Easy to pick up and play, although some levels require such impossible precision I actually had to quit. Definitely recommend though, even if the game ended right where I stopped playing I would say its worth the price.
