The most simplistic and boring game i have ever played. It tries to make interesting choices, while if you progress in a level, the wall of death follows you. Making any decisions moot as you should be just moving forward. Try it on mobile first, it would benefit from "pick up and play" and touch benefit, but as a PC title, without using the local co-op method, there is not much point in playing. Lots of polish for a simple game though. Defintely a good idea for some, but i suggest try before you buy.

Beautiful little game! Sometimes the levels are a little bit too long for my taste, but I like the variety, you are always looking forward to the next one. Very much enjoying the atmosphere. Gameplay is interesting, but it get tedious if you have to click too often in order to get your character move or collecting all jewels. However, over time you get very fast in swaping, so you will no longer struggle, but you need some skill to do so. It's satisfying when your character gets very strong, while you know the average player would not collect so many jewels and fight so many monsters :]
After playing SwapQuest on my smartphone pretty often I had to get it on Steam too. It's a relaxing (but not boring!) puzzle game where you swap tiles to lay out a path for your little hero. I love that you can choose from several classes for the protagonist, and buy new stuff for him/her with the gems you collect during the levels. All this gives SwapQuest much more personality than most puzzle games out there. As an additional bonus the graphics and the music are adorable.
TL;DR: The game is just busted. I made 20 attempts to defeat the first boss, and every single time, it would crash the game at the end of a phase of the fight. It was also impossible to complete the advanced tutorial stage because it would crash after prompting you to run from a fight. A couple of times, the name of a location on the map would show up as "undefined." The game doesn't know how to handle a 4:3 display, showing a complete mess of graphics in the "offscreen" portion at the bottom of the screen. Additionally, boss patterns seem to get messed up and use the "offscreen" portion of the screen as an acceptable location to jump to. Changing to windowed mode doesn't fix any of this, and in fact doesn't seem to do anything besides give the window a title bar. All of this less than an hour into the game. The developer promised in forum threads that they'd look into fixing some of the bugs almost a year ago, but never did. Maybe it's more functional on consoles or mobile, but defi...
