Dull gameplay with an incredibly poor "tutorial" (controls on screen for a few seconds). Text is unreadable pixel garbage with no thought put into readability, and the customisation options are next to none, let alone not being able to play as a female character, you can only have three hair colours? why even add the option at that point. Combat was awful, but I imagine it gets better when you sink a million hours in to actually unlock cool gear, it very much felt like you cannot progress in this game without just dying again and again, and whilst death is part of any roguelite, normally it feels like you at least have a chance in the first few runs. Artstyle was okay, but the level generation felt sloppy with random traps leading to dead ends? Everything is poorly explained and you are left to just guess as to what does what, what upgrades you keep and lose, overall just feels really unpolished. I like the concept of the game, it feels like it could be good if it was developed by...

I love the role playing aspect and the classic mmo play style it got going on. I wanted to find a great pixel mmo rpg for a while and this one, this one works for that.
I think this is another great example of replay ability done correctly. Gauntlet+Diablo+Roguelike+RPG progression. Lots of compelling features which keep you coming back for one more run. I Own this on 3 platforms and shared this title with my friends. Risk vs Reward mechanics are present here, and such a very diverse array of classes, items, abilities, and reasons for getting more money and ore. To upgrade your town and features which can help you in the next run. DLC is also amazing and offers some more features. I like that its also co-op. Simplicity and complexity beautifully integrated in a really cool package. I can't wait to get a full party of my friends to play this so I am excited. A true game worth investing time and fun with friends with.
very fun, silly, but hard when doing it solo. I like the fact that you cant beat it 9 hours. I reccomend it to groups of ppl. if your a 2d rpg master i reccomend too.
Kinda hollow, like a WoW spinoff
Only worth it if you get it on sale for super cheap. Pretty poor performance and super grindy. Frequent problems with multiplayer too...
its a fun game with good mechanics but a bit too grindy for upgrades. Taxation is theft.
Great rogue-lite. Definitely one of the rogue-lites where your stats do matter more than your personal skill level, so you will do many runs as you gain more and more power, but still a lot of fun. Co-op is great fun.
this game scams you into thinking their is co op but it forces you to buy a second copy to play with a friend
Very simple roguelike game with simple gameplay loop, but the town mechanics give you a tangible sense of progression. The guild mechanic also gives you stats across every character, making multiple playthroughs worthwhile.
