About the Game

Grab a friend and two controllers and get ready for the MOST COOPERATIVE GAME EVER. In this inventive top-down twin-stick shooter, you and a friend control the SAME character!

    WORK TOGETHER

Both of you control movement, so that means communication with your other half is key. Move in OPPOSITE directions, and TwinCop will go nowhere. Move in the SAME direction, and you will move swiftly and heal yourselves. Moving together is the ONLY way to heal, and it also charges your combined super ability, Twinsanity, which slows down time and really lets you gain the upper hand in tough situations.

    STORY MODE: ABSURD 80s SATIRE

You and your partner were the best cops in the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area until a horrific pontoon boat accident nearly killed you. The police department took half of each of your mangled bodies and combined them together using the latest technology to save your lives, combining you into one super-cop: TwinCop. You and your partner now each control half of the same body, so you’ll really need to be in sync with one another if you’re going to survive. What truly happened with that pontoon boat accident? Who is funding the war on these streets? What does the PopTop Corporation (creators of the delicious and healthy PopTop Drink) have to do with any of this?

    CUSTOMIZE YOUR COP

Over 25+ character combinations to try! Choose one of the eight most elite members of the Twin Cities police force, each with their own unique special ability. Try to match up abilities for maximum carnage! Who will you choose?

    HILARIOUS MINIGAMES

When you’re TwinCop, everyday tasks become quite difficult. Defuse bombs by cooperatively cutting wires, chase bad guys through busy intersections, fist bump yourselves after a job well done. You’ll never take these tasks for granted ever again.

***THIS GAME IS BEST WITH 2 LOCAL PLAYERS AND 2 CONTROLLERS TO ENJOY***

Me and my friend haven't beaten this game yet, but the further we get, the more excited we get to find where else the game goes! Twinsanity is a lot of fun to perform and the game feels hectic and wild in a way that's much more fun to enjoy with a pal. The game was a little slower with the graphics turned all the way up, but it's still a crazy visual spectacle on "fastest" graphics. If you have two controllers, I'd highly recommend buying this game!

awesome game. i bought it today and have only played a little so far but have played it a ton at cons around Atlanta and elsewhere. very confident in saying that this is one of the most fun and original couch co-op experiences out there. An amazing game to play with a friend. I've actually also tried the single player some today and can confirm it accurately captures the experience of playing with someone else: chaotic and violent and crazy in the best way.

The premise for this couch coop game is really clever, the whole controlling half of a cop thing. I love the art style/theme of this game too. Everything is so juicy and just feels right. How does it play? Finding a buddy to play locally isn't always an option. There are a couple of single player modes. I played robot mode. Robot mode isn't the ideal way to play a couch coop game but I can vouch for TwinCop's single player. It is satisfying. I've played about 2 hours and I'm not even close to finishing it. I've died multiple times but respawning doesn't feel like a chore and I always know what I did wrong and get it right the next time. That is a clever design. So..play this with a friend or try the robot mode (you will probably want to do both!), great fun and highly recommended!

I'm about an hour into this game (on my friend's account) and I can already tell it's special. The mechanics are crazy fun and my friend and I have been laughing the whole time we've been playing (no friendship-ending fights yet). If you've got friends and maybe even a couple drinks on hand, I HIGHLY recommend playing this game, lol. Killa Kill is the best character, sorry bout it

May 10th 1986. You’re 13-years-old and your mom gives you a handful of quarters to spend at Fatty’s Arcade. Upon arriving you see a new cabinet in the back of the store and it looks rad as hell. Entranced by the flashy neon colors and bass-heavy synth beats you approach the game you’re destined to conquer.

Just before you drop in your first coin you realize the controls aren’t like anything you’ve seen before. The joysticks and buttons are spaced so far apart that you’d practically have to be a giant to reach them all. “F*@#! this” you lament to yourself.

“Hey Einstein, you need two players.”

You turn around and see the cutest, smartest and baddest girl in school heading your way.

“TwinCop huh? Let's Play!”
This is it. This is the game that changed your life. How could you have been so lucky? Surely even in an alternate universe where this game was instead released exactly 33 years later on Steam y...

Very fun and original idea. The twin stick mechanic with two players is hilariously difficult to learn, but there's some serious fun in doing so. Especially with someone else. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fun and unique co-op experience.
