I like the idea of the game. It's even fun to play. But it's too frustrating. The camera sucks. The game is Smite style psuedo 3D and the final boss of the first stage has stuff coming from behind you (which are really awkward to dodge since you can't see them). I think the game would be better with a standard top down camera. A clearer hurt box for the character would be helpful. There are a range of weapons, and picking up multiple powers them up. It's all random though and when I have a completely powered up weapon it feels great. Dying and losing it doesn't. There are too many awkward and annoying things for me to continue to trying to play. Neat concept, and for the right type of person, this is probably a lot of fun.

User Reviews
It's a little rough around several edges. The animations and art design are distinct though leave some to be desired. Music is okay and sound effects are muted. Still recommending Witch Thief because it mixes third-person action with bullet spam genres very well. Gameplay is all there. No reason you cna't overlook the rough edges to get into the solid gameplay. I'd definitely wait for a sale. I bought it immediately because I've followed this game for months and want to support it. Overall, I give Witch Thief a 7/10. A good time-killer and a cool concept.
I am constantly fighting the camera in this game, a fixed camera is ideal for a game where I need to focus on the patterns and not if I can SEE them at all. You're better off playing the disappearance of gensokyo or scarlet curiosity than this.
Great game
A few of the boss mechanics feel a bit awkward, but overall a pretty nice 3d bullet hell
Really enjoying this one. It gets hard pretty fast, but can't wait to see whats next!
