Having played around 11+ hours, I'm sitting at the top of all of the 4x4 leaderboards and feel like I can speak to the game. I've also unlocked most of the achievements (I've played plenty of 2048). I like having a good version of the game to play on Steam but let me give some criticism and suggestions... EDIT - The Dev has continued to update the game to get many things added or fixed. ALL OF THE # ITEMS BELOW HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED. 1. The "Modern" mode is at an odd angle and lacks actual numbers to see your progess easily. You're going off visual 3-D bars that have similar colors at the higher numbers. Honestly, this mode hurt the hell out of my eyes after a while. Either add some numbers or change the colors drastically between numbers. 2. Add a dark theme to the classic 4x4 and 8x8 modes 3. The screenshot button with Steam (F12) does not appear to work with this game 4. Add an option to play without the undo button on Classic mode and have seperate leaderboards for those modes....

rant start. I love this game - played it to death on iOS However - they have given it 5 achievements - none of which are skill or attempt based, just open the option menu or play this style. It's a positive thumbs up, as it is a fun game IMHO anyway, and there are more options for the $1.79 asking price than the free iOS version, but please add some achievements related to game play - or, don't have them at all. rant over.
2️⃣0️⃣4️⃣8️⃣is an incredibly addictive puzzle game that perfectly balances simplicity and challenge. The intuitive gameplay and minimalist design make it a great choice for casual fun and strategic thinking. Highly recommended for puzzle enthusiasts!🧐
2048 is a paid version of the free https://gabrielecirulli.github.io/2048/, standalone for the desktop and with controller support. In addition, it features an isometric display mode (featured in the video, and the first screenshots). I'll go ahead and admit it, this display mode was more than half the reason I bought the game. I really like 2048, and was interested in getting to play with more appealing graphics. I also was mildly interested in getting the achievements, to "show the world" that I rock at 2048. Now, the game is more or less a clone of the free version, but the controller support, isometric display mode and achievements may be worth a buck, so why the negative review? In a few words: because of the poor quality of the game. For such a basic game, in 2019, it should not matter what machine you run it on, as long as it can run steam. Yet, I found the game to severely lag at times, on a gaming rig (i7-6770HQ, 32GB DDR4 and EVGA GTX 1080 SC)...
I'm glad this is on Steam.
WARNING! R.I.P. headphone users this games intro music is extremely loud right off the bat even at 1% smh. Also this game is much more enjoyable on a mobile device... heck even a smartwatch! Would not recommend.
Very nice game where you move the numbers, all up, all down, all left or all right, and when two identical numbers bump into each other, they merge and become one with twice their value. The goal is to get as far as possible before you are out of moves. I see people say that you can get games like this for free? Well, I like Steam, Steam screenshots, and options. And you certainly get the options here: Options: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2594101224 Resolution options: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2594113963 Game Modes: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2594103031 Classic: You can do undo the last three moves. Unmistakable: No undo. Survival: You have a few seconds to start with, and you get an additional second every time you combine 2 numbers. Time Trial: You have 60 seconds to get as far as you can. I had a problem the other day, and the dev fixed it super speedily! Now that's support. :)) And that...
Simple 2048 game with 16 achievements. I used this game to get my 20,000th non-restricted achievement. Besides that, it's not very special and 2048 is already free....
THE 2048 is, just like it says on the box, the classic free browser game, 2048, but you're expected to pay money for this on Steam. My first inclination was that this was yet another 2048 asset/tutorial flip, because there's a number of tutorials and free asset packs for making 2048 as a game (to teach people how to use Unity etc), and a lot of unscrupulous "developers" who steal others work and slap their own name on it to claim credit (and money) for the work of others. Not so here, the developer has rightly and correctly credited those who did most of the work for this game. And, they've added extra game modes and so on (including an isometric game mode). Unfortunately that doesn't make this any better than the web versions of the game, and we have to remember this is being put up for profit... and for a game as shallow as 2048, that's really not okay. It's polluting Steam. You could play this for free in a web browser. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet ...
