I don't love making this review, because there was a window there in 2022 and 2023 where I absolutely loved this game. WW3 was one of those projects with a good core gameplay loop but was always let down by something else: too little content, too few updates, poor server performance, a crappy launcher, too much focus on microtransactions when still trying to establish a player base, and other overall mismanagement issues. In 2025, what we have is a game without a player base. New ownership has picked up the game and is delivering updates, but at this point it is a drip-feed of tweaks and additions being handed to a player base that doesn't exist. The game has averaged fewer than 200 players since January 2024, and that has now dropped to fewer than 100 players. Trying to play this game is often an exercise of ending up in a waiting room with 3 other players, and watching people join and quit one-by-one. The positives for the game are still there. This game was Great when early access released, and i bought it in the first month. I had a huge amount of fun and the game ran pretty well. When i switched to a new PC i suddenly was unable to install the game so i havent touched it in years. Just started it today and it looks like a Mobile CoD Knockoff.
wow fucking free games so bad idk how i get this game
The launcher still loads files from some torrent network and that takes ages - if anything at all happens at all. The launcher was supposed to be removed but for whatever reason, it hasn't been done. I won't play until that thing is out of the window.
Game is super dead and is a pile of steaming horse dung, you are better off watching two homeless guys have sexual relations with each other in a Toyota Prius then ever buying this game. I have had the game since release and as you can see how much have played it. I want to like this game but i just cant

They added bots I'm so happy! Screw the bot haters! I love singleplayer modes in games! My interest in this game shot us many times over this!
Bought this game in early access all those years ago, it was very enjoyable for that time when of course I stopped and played other games like i normally do. I started back up again and it totally lost its spark. It feels so generic and boring. Matches are mostly bots and just bland. So sad this game ended up like this :(
