An NES action homage on the better side of decent. If this were a real NES game, it would be like, a Jaleco title, or one of the more middling Natsume games. The sound and visuals are quite good, although the larger sprite sizes relative to the screen means that you don't have a ton of room to maneuver. In fact, enemies rarely pose much of a threat at all if you have a quick trigger finger and passable reflexes. I actually don't think I died a single time to anything other than some of the more classic bullshit instant death traps. I like Mega Man 2 as much as the next guy, but did we really need to do Quick Man's lasers again? The weapons all feel pretty good, although the laser and fireball seem above the rest by a good margin. There just isn't enough enemy variety to justify needing more than one or two strong, straight firing shots. Everything else feels like a bit of a novelty by comparison. Seems slightly glitchy too, as I beat stage 6 without dying (somehow) and the game sh...
