About This Game

Plexus - an experimental 2d shooter with RPG elements, non-linear passage and a global map, where the player will move between worlds, exterminate crowds of monsters and avoid dangerous traps.

Battle
- All in-game weapons have two shooting modes;
- You can also collect powerful active/passive spells that create black holes or give invisibility.

Global Map
- The player explores the world of the Plexus, moving through the levels of four biomes (Factory, Cave, Aether, Chaos). Each biome is beautiful, dangerous and unique.
- Between fights you can choose the next biome to pass or bypass a complex level on the global map.

RPG elements
- Component system of the ship, large number of guns, engines, armor and, accordingly, assemblies of ships.

Walkthrough
- Visiting each biome in its own way changes the whole world of the Plexus.
- Replaying is actual: the player himself chooses the order of visiting biomes. Random item drop strongly affects the available tactics (warrior/stealth/manipulator).

Interesting enough and I was enjoying it, but it crashed twice within 32 minutes of gameplay, once at level-end and once on inventory-open. Losing progress in such an arbitrary way makes it unsatisfying to try to advance or accumulate improvements.

Yep. That’s a cool game. I like especially the gameplay which is really various. You can face the enemies and kill each of them, or you can try to steal through. So, every level has different ways of passing. There is also a wide range of weapons: usual grenade launchers, machine guns, and even energy blasters, and so on. If you can’t pass the level you can just go to the next one. And I must say that some of them aren’t so easy, as it seems firstly. This game is really exciting. Lots of levels, lots of fun. And it has a great music by the way!

Get to Attention! Danger and every time I complete it crashes the game. Also have problems with it crashing whenever I open the inventory. Can't recommend even though I like the gameplay.

Good game with 360 degree shooting The game plays in four biomes (sky islands, factory, cave systems and chaos) which have separate levels in them accessible from overworld map (no free roam just level select map). In each handcrafted level you can collect new equipment (weapons, engines, relics, armor and reactors) and crystals which you can spend on new equipment as well once you collected 10. Weapons all feel different and useful so you can choose what complements your playstyle , even the basic flak canon and machinegun you get from the start can get you thru the whole game if they fit your playstyle. It's important to notice that your projectiles retain your momentum. For example if you are using a heavy mine and shooting backwards the mine can still follow your direction albeit slower because the projectile original speed is slower than your movement at the time. It might not be the longest game you are going to play but for the price its definitely worth it to at least try it...

This game has some interesting elements but it mostly just comes off as bland. You don't really know what you have to do in the levels, you just sort of fly around until you find an end portal. The combat is kind of floaty and doesn't quite feel right. The art style is a bit off and doesn't quite fit together. On the one hand you have these kind of dieselpunk airships but on the other you have these magic portals and Greco-Roman ruins.

It's a good game with good customizability of armors and weapons, but it's just a flash game. I'd just play a flash game on some website and spend money on something else.

Alright, where do I like to start? So, this game is a simple style game with different bosses in each level. But, I think the game lacks in some areas where the music cuts off for a brief second and then it just comes back on again. I do not know if it is part of the game to be like that, but I do like it to be continous or I should say, different styles of songs to fit the current level the player is on. This game is a great little time waster and you can play lots of levels and some are a bit difficult, but that's just me.
