About This Game
Starvation will initially be the biggest threat as you move from the hunter and gathering nomadic life style of early homo sapiens to the later era of farming and settlements.
- Harvest the resources you will need to build up your village and survive
- Research new technologies that will unlock new buildings and technologies
- Build dwellings for your people to give them a place to be safe from the elements and threats that stalk the night
- Stalk your prey before butchering and cooking their carcasses to feed your growing village
Homo Sapiens have been walking the earth for at least the last 100,000 years, after the last ice age began to recede ancient man started to migrate into northern Europe this is where we begin, In a harsh unforgiving climate life was difficult and the threats from the local wildlife and environment were deadly, archaeology shows how many of our ancestors met their demise, the question is will your tribe survive and thrive or become another lost civilization to be found slowly decomposing in the permafrost.

Unplayable alpha. No updates since last december. Don't waste your money.
At its current state, this game is not worth the money the dev asks for it and more importantly, your precious life hours. Its boring, repetitive, shallow and broken by many bugs, even for a game in early access there are way too many bugs. There is no balance and it's far more linear than it should be. (I Killed 1 deer after 12 tries! sending 2 guys every time! thats 24 tries!!!! ... sorry but these guys weren't called hunter/gatherers for nothing, they knew how to hunt and they did it in groups!) Last but not least, It lacks realism and accurate presentation of the era it supposedly depicts. Is it early Paleolithic? no... these are clearly homo sapiens we see in the game, so it must be mesolithic then, no...wait! is it Neolithic? no because that would include (farming, herding, polished stone axes, timber longhouses and pottery) etc A few tips for the developer: 1.According to the latest evidence the earliest Homo sapiens evolved as a seperate branch from the H. Erectus roughly ...
I bought this game for $3.29 on sale from $10.99 retail. I played for 2 hours over 3 seperate sessions. In that time i had gone as far a the tech tree would allow until the next technology said "coming soon" When i saw that it killed everything. Other than the fact that the games tech tree isnt finished, and super limited, the game is very buggy and ultra painfully repetitive. I requested my $3.29 back and was refunded. Dont let pretty cinematics fool you into wasting your money AND time on this title.
Steam needs to remove this game. it is horrible and the Dev hasnt made any updates since 2017
Even for early access this game is in a terrible state right now. Even if the devs add content, the overall gameplay is so poor I can't recommend it. 1. The camera controls pan at the speed of molasses 2. Tedious individual citizen management. You seriously have to send orders for your people to do ANYTHING. The game in this state is just you assigning your citizens to gather food/wood/stone every 10 seconds. 3. Almost no content or anything to do. Yes, its EA, but releasing a few pixels is not enough for you to be charging money. 4. Your citizens can perform ~4 tasks per day before they have to rest. If this game is going for a truly realistic experience, thats fine. But prepare to be extremely bored. 5. Graphics, sound, music, movement, visuals are all very poor. 6. Fatal game crash errors (this one is expected though for EA). Devs: I understand the need for financial support while building a game, but releasing it as "EA" in this state was a very bad decision. There ...
Deleted my first review. All my moans have been addressed and done very quickly. Game has very good potential. Next update looks interesting.
Played for an hour now and the game has promise. Encountered one bug whereby one of the guys was cooking by the fire and liked it so much decided not to move again. No tutorial but clicking on the icons it all becomes self explanatory. The characters are pretty slow moving when collecting resources and so far no button to speed things along. You have to be careful at the start because my two guys died of starvation. It would be nice to see the Devs make each character "clickable" so you can see their current status. When clicking the characters to gather resources you have to do it individually, would be good if you could click them all at the same time. Both guys look and dress the same, as do the girls, would like to see different colored pieces of clothing to make it easier to indentify each character. When the gather resources, you have no control on what the collect, which is a shame as you're then reliant on them bringing back the resources needed to build new items. It doesn't s...
The game has a lot of potential. It being just released today, it has bugs that need to be worked out (reported and fixed). However the developer seems to be very responsive. The game was also released 2 weeks more or less sooner than the orignal posted release date. Graphics are nice, the core of the game is there (other than bugs that need to be fixed). It seems there just needs more content to keep avid players busy. The other minor drawback is that there needs to be more of a tutorial for those who do not want to spend the time figuring out the basic controls. (I took about 30 minutes to figure out the UI and how to get things done) For the listed price, definitly worth picking up and playing. Looking forward to content updates in the future.
Lots to like, less to stare at as you patiently wait for your people to sleep. There needs to be a speed control for the game. You need to be able to go further away from the camp site. This has a lot of cooking to do before it is ready for prime time. https://youtu.be/n32zVgmXnL8
