I've gone from cautiously optimistic to really, really excited about this game. The devs are actively incorporating player feedback and the game is already beginning to shine as my favorite recent zoo park simulator in a major way, maybe to be of all time when they iron it out some more. I've been experiencing some crashes in the nursery screen, but it's already really fun to play now, a proper dinosaur management game, and I cannot wait to see how it continues to grow this summer.

About the Game

Take on the role of park manager and design the ultimate zoo for nature's greatest creations.
Discover, incubate and release dozens of extinct species to build a successful park that can keep up with the growing demands of guests, staff and hungry animals.

From the majestic Woolly Mammoth to the mighty Spinosaurus, undo the rules of extinction by reviving a diverse selection of over 50 species of prehistoric wildlife.
Watch as they seamlessly grow from baby to adult; changing their proportions, sounds and behaviors in realtime. They'll need to eat, drink, sleep and satisfy their social needs through dynamic behaviors like herding and socialization.

Design stunning parks across an enormous playable area to draw in crowds from all over the world. Carve rivers, raise mountains or build facilities piece-by-piece with precise creative tools.
Choose from a selection of themed prefabs or use the Steam Workshop to share or download ready-made structures like restaurants, toilets and viewing platforms.

Prepare your zoo with logistics management, strategically placing key infrastructure to optimize its efficiency.
Import or generate resources and deliver them throughout the zoo with trainable staff to ensure your kiosks and feeders remain stocked. Don't forget to clean those dung piles!

Get up close and personal with First Person Mode and explore your zoo from a different persective. Take a look through binoculars, enter habitats or even stop to sit on a bench with this immersive and interactive mode.

This game delivers everything that Jurassic World Evolution wished it could.
NOTE: This game is in ᴇᴀʀʟʏ ᴀᴄᴄᴇss! It is incomplete, and if a prospective buyer is looking for a complete package, they might wind up dissapointed. I am not a great builder. In games like Planet Zoo and Jurassic World Evolution, I am almost entirely function over form. I make zoos that work. I will try to beautify an enclosure but it usually ends up looking unfinished or ugly. Prehistoric Kingdom's building system feels significantly friendly to me. I can actually make builds that I think look half decent. Am I a good builder? Heavens no, but this game encourages me to continue improving my building skills. Now to the meat of the game, the reason why people buy it in the first place: the ᴛᴇʀʀɪʙʟᴇ ʟɪᴢᴀʀᴅs! And the catalog of Cenozoic animals, too, let's not forget them! They look amazing. Their animations are lively and their models look spectacular. I love the speculative designs of the juveniles and of species like 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘰...
Better park builder then JWE2. I can't wait for combat that is coming soon. But this game is as it says "early access" much of it still needs work. But it will be something large in the future, with how the babies grow its definitly a lot of work for the game designers and developers. I'm really glad that this game exist. I also will still play this after JWE3 comes out because of how realistic the dinosaurs are in this game, they aren't genetically moddified at all, its just how they were back then!!!
Incomplete as a game but a sufficient creative tool in its current state (at the time of this review). If you want to buy this, you want to be more on the creative side of the spectrum as currently even the challenge mode (the main mode) is essentially a sandbox.
If your someone who plays Park Management styled games like PZ (Planet Zoo) Jurassic World Evolution 1 and 2, this is the game for you
Planet zoo but with dinosaurs. It has the same controls and gameplay with planet zoo but has better QOL and is cheaper. The customization of each creature is better and you have a lot more freedom with the placement of your dinosaurs allowing you to make your whole park into one giant habitat. Cant wait for the upcoming updates.
ive remained cautiously optimistic about this game, i bought it when it released. i've rarely played since, but with the latest update incorporation functions i have been waiting for; its a dream come true. highly recommend if youre a planet zoo lover like myself, you just have to take some time to get used to the different controls and mechanics!
love the game and love the attention for it's details but the recommended graphics should be updated, it says a 2060 is the recommendation yet i have a 3060 which is an upgraded version of the 2060 and i can't even run the game on medium graphics above 30 fps. i'm not saying the game should be more optimized for a 3060, i don't know what's the average gpu nowadays and the 3060 is getting outdated anyways but it's the fact that it says for system requirements "2060 recommended" yet a 3060 can't run it smoothly. that's my only issue with the game, i love playing with high graphics in park sims because i love watching my dinosaurs be dinosaurs, my park thriving, the decor, but i simply can't enjoy running the game on 20-30 fps just on medium graphics so i shall wait until i upgrade my graphics card :D
It is essentially JWE2, but more unique and less corporate. It is an amazing game, very high fidelity. If you want a game like JWE2 than buy this, and even JWE3. It has a lot of potential to be better than all Jurassic World Evolution games. Also, lots of regular content updates. I bought it over a year ago, but didn't play much due to a lack of content. However, now they have almost more features than JWE2. Highly recommended.
