Insert Paper is a game about inserting paper. It's done in the style of a classic 80's office place. Is this a new and amazing title that will shape games to come, or is it just another Indie shit in the form of a game? Well, here's the cons and pros: Cons: - Graphics and visual design are HORRIBLE! I kinda get what they were going for, but I played this game for 0.3 hours, and my eyes are straining. Yeah, you can go into options and change one or two things, but the static on screen is still there, which is not nice to play with. It reminds me of the Virtual Boy, which is never a good thing. - It's very hard to have fun. Main game mechanic is boring - The office place is a confusing maze. I don't know if this was intentional, but if your core game mechanic is simple and not that enjoyable, why would you make it so dreadful to do? - Voice acting could've been better. The part where the cops were banging on the door sounded very cheesy. Not horrible, but there's room for improvement. - ...

For such a basic game, it's pretty buggy. Some papers are completely inaccessible. A handful of doors don't render properly. Papers scan the wrong side up. Don't expect much from this game. The big reveals are lackluster, and even the basic "insert papers" mechanic doesn't go beyond color/name matching.

A garbage game that is halfway broken. The controls are horrible. I honestly don't know what this is supposed to be, there is absolutely no sense of direction in what you're supposed to do, I truly have no idea what you're meant to do and I'm not really interested anymore. It feels like a throwaway project. Insert Paper was suggested to me as a horror game. While I enjoy the weird alternate history world it presents, the gameplay leaves much to be desired. Mindlessly picking up papers to find the right one suggested bya computer terminal is horror via bureaucracy, which isn't really horror. Maybe if I complete more mind-numbing searches, the game opens up and becomes a full-on horror extravaganza. I'm not holding my breath.
Follow "First Person Exploration and Puzzle Games" for more games like this!
It's just awful. At first the game seems broken because the controls are not explained and the UI is completely unintuitive. When you finally figure out how to play, the gameplay consists of walking from one copy+pasted room to another, clicking on dozens of pieces of paper looking for the one with the correct name on it. As far as I could tell, that's the entire game. Avoid.

Eh. It exists. The game tries to set itself up to be more than it is, but it only really lasts about a half hour or so, and that's just because the titular paper you need to insert is often twenty three rooms down the hall from the last computer you were at. There's nothing really... "bad" about the game other than there isn't much game to really play.

While you are playing, you can think "It is just another day in the office!" but wait for the final...

Insanely short, but kind of fun. With a few changes it could have been actually fun and longer. You run down one hallway straight looking for papers in identical cabinets. Just when you start to get the hang of it the game is over. A better game would have twisty turny hallways with diffrent cabinets and documents to find. Not sure I can recommend it, if it's a dollar then sure.

I hate doing paperwork! So I do paperwork.... Fight against boredom for a lowprice...
You can waste time or you can try a real-life-paper to beat the game.
