I haven't played a lot of Project Maze but I see potential in this game. I am recommending this game in advance with hope that developers will put some work into it.
PROS
Mazes. Well you would expect 2 minutes mazes in such a game, I have news for You, it is not. It felt like I was running forever stuck in endless space. Soundtrack. Music in Project Maze added to that lost feeling and helped to immerse myself.
NEUTRAL
Visuals. Initially I put graphics in pros, but after second thought I moved it here. I can't say anything about visuals or graphics because they are good. What I want is more variety. Yes current design is hypnotizing and confusing making you feel lost easily, however I want different designs, different patterns, different walls, same level over and over can become boring easily.
CONS
Modes. There are only few modes and they are not balanced right now. Ones containing enemies are just too hard b...

About the Game
Welcome to Project Maze, a game where you must complete three manually generated mazes of increasing difficulty. Each one is larger than the previous one, but if that's too easy for you, you have the option to create your own unique maze by setting the size and seed of the generation. You can play in single player or network cooperative mode, where the mazes are procedurally generated each time, creating new challenges for you and your friends.
But that's not all - a huge fourth maze awaits you, featuring a competitive element in the form of a leaderboard. In this mode your goal is to complete the maze as quickly as possible, so you can get to the top of the leaderboard.
The goal of the game is to get through the mazes alone or together with your friends.
Show your space orientation skills and work as a team to reach a common goal!
Features:
- 3 unique mazes
- 1 maze with a competitive element
- Ability to create and pass your own maze

I love this. Finally a maze game with the right content: MAZES. No damn distracting stuff, side quests, monsters, weird stuff around, just the pure pleasure of solving mazes. If you love mazes like I do, it's a 10/10
The game is super simple: you need to get out of randomly generated maze. I liked the style of the game and I wish I had the tutorial on the following: 1) how to play small maze for practice and to get the 1st achievement. 2) on abilities: i.e. what does yellow and blue lines mean. You will figure out quickly, but it is annoying for a new player.
[ This is a changed review! The comments down below with the developer were aimed at an earlier review a way back ] Some time ago i gave this game a thumbs down as it wasn't quite polished and had a lot of problems. Now i tried it again and it got much better, but it is far from perfect. First of all when you start the game it all looks well made, you got the unreal engine intro, a little intro page from the developer and a nice looking and working main menu. In the options you can change many different settings and the game can even detect settings that fit your pc. It seems you can play singeplayer and multiplayer ( havent played multiplayer yet as none of my friends own this game ) but in singleplayer you can decide between a timed and a non timed maze, and you can even "create" random mazes by putting in a seed of your choice. The gameplay itself consists of what you would think, you are in a maze running around trying to find the exit, theres also music playing that isnt too calm...
A neat little indie game that satisfies my inner maze-wanderer... Lots of new features added in the last couple of years, including a level editor and performance fixes. Worth buying, and worth spending a few hours in! :) Also, for the one achievement that was glitching out for me, the dev was kind enough to add another way to unlock that particular achievement. So, not only is this an active game, but the dev still pays attention to it and gives it some love from time to time. Thanks for being cool!
I love mazes.
idk nothing wrong with it, also not big fan of it
It's a great game if you just want to relax with some low-impact mental aerobics. The soundtrack is mellow and there's no rush to finish unless you're trying to beat a certain time. Also, you can mark the maze in various ways as you pass through it to help find the exit. Pretty basic but that's part of what I like about it. Well worth $5 just for the time I've put in so far.
Good mazes I guess, but I can't be bothered playing it for hours. Mazes aren't my thing. Had this game in my library for months from a steam coupon, just used SAM to forget about it.
