She and the Light Bearer

Gorgeous graphics, great story, easy play. What's not to love?

It was fun playing this puzzle game while it's raining outside and I have a hot cup of mocha. I can't say it was too easy nor too difficult. You can definitely figure things out as you try several ways along the game. I hope there's more to it. I like the art and music as well.

All interactive hot spots have an unmissable flashing animation that renders every action obvious. The third chapter is more involving and takes a proper adventure game form, but the game rapidly becomes a storybook again. Conversation choices mainly offer flavor, sometimes hints on which screen to visit next, but never lead to decisions or problems to solve. The playable character needs to prove herself in different ways in every chapter as she discovers what is causing harm to the forest. Vague poetic story about restoring nature, cute but relatively uneventful when nothing is fully detailed or explained.
