MagiCat

One of the cutest pixel cat-formers I've played! If you like any mix of platformers and indie dash platformers like Celeste, you will like this one.

Caveat: Not recommended for completionists (Edited after 100%'ing the game) MagiCat is a really enjoyable puzzle-platformer overall. I liked the introduction of a new mechanic with each new stage, and I like all of the main bosses at the end of each world, which are themed according to the overworld. Speaking of which, I think the overworld is the shining star of the game, with many branching paths and the ability to craft bridges across the map. You get a splash of character customization as jumping in colored pools changes your cat's fur color and attack style. This is neat! I think the soundtrack works perfectly for this game, and I really love how colorful and unique each level theme is. However, once you reach the third world, a lot of new level gimmicks start to stack on each other and get very tedious to get through. This is mostly an issue with the middle of the game, because I think the gimmicks get far more creative and interesting in the last two worlds (except that one da...
