Positiv: + The latest update added a lot of menu options: 3 Difficulty settings, Sound/locomotion options. Very fast fix thanks! + No longer nauseating they added teleport locomotion! + The game is fun + Good graphics + Good menu (big fonts, clear easy to navigate) + Very good sounds + Good atmosphere (spectators!) + Highscores + Feels well polished overall with some things left coud easy be fixed + The minigames are brilliant and funny (can we have more?) + Slow motion effetcs + Very exact implementation of original rules Neutral: ° "Funny" game modes allow infinite shuttlecock shoots out of that mashine and they all fly in exactly the same path. The result is that you just need to swing the arm in the air left and right and cheat your way through the waves untill you feel tired of doing it that way. Need to fix it by making the path slightly random! ° missing a "free play" mode where the enemy always plays back no matter where you hit or how bad your serve was (EDIT: They added ...

The Match mode is a real sport that makes you sweat, but the other side's computer is too easy for me. It should be higher level. You need a delicate batting for the Funny mode. The Bug mode can be hard and complicated with too many bugs. The rest of the mode is dynamic and good for stress relief.

WHY ASSISTED LOCOMOTION????? i made a 8m x 8m room for games like this to be able to freely play and run physically in my room. but of course it's not possible because assisted locomotion is FORCED on us...come on man, please add an option to remove assisted locomotion and i'll give this game a thumbs up. please.

This was the first VR game that really sold it to me So fun. Takes some getting use to but it's a great way to break a sweat if you put some effort in.

Please give the player an option to turn off assisted moving. It is just not fun for the game to move me. It would be so little work to have just put in the option. Players like options.

It would have been a little unfair to review this on purchase, however one patch later we can get some rallys going, point out the flaws, and sing about the positives. Now with the initial problems with the ai being flawed have disapeared, the challenge is there for the moderate player on the pro setting, and you can take that to the extreme on the next level up. That had to happen to get any sort of game going. The last patch very much represents 50% there though in terms of where it needs to be, in terms of the ai and shot placement and power of the player. Playing to the line and around the court does work, but the AI can still do which you are unable. You can smash, but the ai can actualy hammer it like you would like to, you can loft it up to the back court on a defensive, but the ai can go mile high with it. It's the same with the ai, easy to exploit before at the net on more tactile shots, now not so much. I believe the former is an easy fix given the steps already taken, the ...

High Clear VR was a surprise to me, and I have never played a Badminton VR game before. Great graphics with many cool badminton courts, great immersion and good racket handling, nice room-scale gameplay with automatic sliding-teleportation, challenging match-mode and 4 fun minigames. I've made my first High Clear VR gameplay with Mixed Reality view showing all of the modes available. Enjoy and judge for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yA-wzqGPSSI Im also giving away 5 keys for the game in this video, on saturday night. Note that I actually bought this game by myself, and afterwards contacted the developers Five Star Games for the giveaway keys. My first impressions and opinions are fully honest, and not affected in any way. The good things about High Clear VR: + Polished and Great graphics, nice looking courts and opponents + Sounds effects and the background music is awesome + Badminton in VR is surprisingly fun and really immersive! + Easy to navigate the menus + Nice hi...

I had a blast playing this game. I was surprised that this game worked perfectly fine with standing room only using only 2 sensors with the Oculus Rift and touch controllers. The dev really needs to add Oculus Rift support in the store description I will definitely have to try room scale. But even at standing room only this game was fun to play. That's because of the VR environments, the avatars, the controls were all superb. I had no problems with tracking and the gameplay was superfast and addicting. In fact, the only problem I had was with the VR mini-games included. But since I only had standing room space only, I can't say it's anything wrong with the game. I have not tried multi-player. Even on easy on single player, the game was quite challenging for a noob like me to Badminton. Rating 8/10 .. definitely a must buy at the current sale price of $9.99, lot of bang for your buck here, especially if you have a friend to PvP with

Really not a bad game at all. Shuttle physics are pretty good (better than expected) and skill level range is pretty good too of the AI. Not played Multiplayer yet, but Single & the Fun modes are good. **Word of advice** - switch to 'teleport' movement method in the Options. It will help you not get sick. The only real issue I really had, was a full-speed smash wasnt tracked very well. This is more likely a Vive tracking problem however due to the sheer speed of a real-life smash. There were a few glitches, but nothing game breaking. Has otherwise a nice level of polish. I would like to see some different rackets, & more AI players with diverse skin tones, but that's just cosmetic. Devs seem pretty active too which is great :) Overall, pretty impressed for the money. B+ or 4 out of 5.
