Lumins and Shades

This game has been a very welcome surprise. The core concept is simple: switch all the colors on to complete the level. But how you achieve that, and the way the game expands on that idea with its mechanics is very interesting. I still have a ways to go to beat the game, but I'm enjoying every second of it.

The game is a little slow at first, and you'll think you're just going through obfuscated 3-bit mazes. But it builds up in complexity and quickly requires thought and careful observation to solve every puzzle, thanks to multiple players, peculiar buttons and tricky win conditions. I had to come and leave a positive review after finishing Unhaunted Desert - F1, it was THAT good. There are some technical issues (see my forum post for details) but nothing that can't be overlooked.

Solid brain-fryer. I like it.

Interesting puzzle game that does some fun stuff with an overworld with puzzles in them where the puzzles and the overworld interact. It's cool, but the difficulty in the later puzzles is more about having so many things to keep track of.

Fun puzzler that really makes you use your brain sometimes. The mechanics are easily understood, and figuring out what you should be doing is typically straightforward even if determining how to make that possible can be tricky sometimes. Overall, a good game worth your time if you like the kind of sequence puzzles the game provides. Except the level [spoiler]Flattened Pyramid - I[/spoiler], heck that one
