I actually quite enjoyed the game. It`s an RPG maker game (yes, i know. No shit sherlock) and it was developed by an indie developer... Additionally I am a big fan of puzzle games and such stuff which caused me to try this game. I had no problems solving the puzzles in the early game. Some puzzles are innovative and interesting. Not every puzzle is though (i speak to you: Lights Puzzle), but most of them are. Every game has some weak puzzles. Every puzzle can be figured out logically which makes it fun to progress and proceed through the rooms. The game also has different paths you can take and different endings you can get. Saving, loading and such stuff is no problem, you can do that anytime before important choices. I have finished the game, completed all secrets and hidden puzzles. The puzzles in the late-game were really difficult and i had a hard-time figuring them out. The puzzles are great and i definitely would buy this game again for them. The big downside is the story ...

I've been a bit on the fence about this game throughout yesterday and today. On sale the game costs £3.5 and I have 3.5 hours so far so I have my money's worth. The game presents itself as an RPGMaker styled locked room/escape the room mystery. I've done a couple of these puzzles in real life and thought I'd give it a shot. The gameplay is pretty much what you'd expect; hunt around the room for clues to solve the puzzles to find keys to open the door. That's all great, fun and challenging. I came across a few issues while playing. The developer (in the comments below) has been great in responding to them and promising to work on some quality of life improvements. I'll leave these issues at the bottom as a reference. However, overall my review is to recommend this game - this game has an active, engaged developer who is passionate about their game, who talks to the playerbase and tries to improve the experience for the players. The experience is fun, quirky and as far as I know, u...
Enjoyed the game very much. Not usually fond of puzzle games but I did try the real escape rooms before and really enjoyed that. The story is interesting, especially after about halfway through. There are 2 different routes and after doing all the endings my favorite has to be the Escaped route and makes me think there will be more coming. Am I right? The puzzles are mostly ok. There are hints that help you, and also a guide when you're stuck so it's really good since you will never be stuck.
As an escape room aficionado in real life, I figured I'd try this one out. I have to say that the quality of the puzzles in this game rivals that of some real escape rooms I've done. Some rooms were really easy for me, but as I advanced through the game, I started to struggle a bit. Some of the puzzles are cryptic, which might cause some frustration, but talking with your companions often leads to helpful clues. I did have to resort to a guide at a few points when I got stuck, and the answers all make logical sense, which makes me appreciate the amount of thought that went into the puzzles. Bravo. The story offers multiple endings, but I won't say anything about them, other than that I still have questions about some of the characters. Being that the game is primarily puzzle-based, I'm not particularly turned off by not getting all of the answers in this regard. Is it perfect? No - but it's a quality game that I enjoyed. I am happy to be amongst its initial supporters, and I hope it...
very fun and challenging puzzel game
I need more RPGmaker games like this!!!
I want this guy to finish the visual novel he's on so he can hurry up and get to the next chapter! I wanna know what the answers to the unanswered questions are!
Well, on the one hand the game is fun enough if you like figuring out puzzles. Nothing crazy challenging in what I had played so far. I was even enjoying the sub-plot that the game had going between the different characters. However, there are a number of things about the game that are just... not polished and sometimes quite annoying. The sound the text makes is loud seemingly no matter how you configure audio options, but the kicker is that if you click "disable typing sound" in the menu, the typing sound will simply come back a few moments later. At which point you have to "enable" and then re-disable it to make the sound go away again. You also can't skip dialogue that you've already been through if you're just trying to interact with the NPC's to see if they give any helpful hints. But here's the bug that made me put the game down: I was in a maze in which a few chests require the inputting of a code, the second of which requires a code comprised of characters (letters, numbers, ...
This game seemed like it would be fun, but even so it was better than I expected - less straightforward than it first appeared! I would absolutely recommend this title.
I will recommend this game with a caveat. The last puzzle is ridiculously convoluted, incorporating things you have no reason to suspect are linked. Even after giving up and using a guide to find out what to do and seeing the method for solving I just took the answer and used it to end the game. It was frustrating since almost everything to that point was fairly challenging but enjoyably so. The concept is great, the controls smooth and intuitive, the puzzles are (usually) fun-challenging and require logic. There was one that I thought I had figured out but didn't work, then when I used the guide I did have the right idea but something appeared to be switched on the over all map. I suppose this puzzle could have been solved through trial and error though. Another was a puzzle
involving a date that used a format never seen in actual date formulating so I didn't even consider it as a possibility
I might go back and replay some day but the last puzzle just took...
