BUG - Missing inventory item Almost to the end and the scene where the monster plant is killed didn't work. Poured the poison on the roots but the following cut scene never happened where the control panel is received so game could not be completed. Very disappointing after wading through numerous other issues.

what should a world do when Sherlock gets old? It needs you! there are a lot of hidden object games, and i love this genre, as every game has its own story, own design peculiarities, user interface, and great moves made to stand out from a crowd, to differ from any other game of a kind. And this one is no exclusion: you are looking for elixir of youth for old Sherlock trying to find a beauty that is a wife of a rich Puss in Boots )))) i recommend the game for anyone who loves playing hidden object games.
It's a typical adventure hidden object game, though I quite liked the aspect of keeping at least one object in your inventory and it is usable throughout the game unlike most other HoGs. However, I am quite disappointed in a bug as far into the game as I've gotten. Once you poison the plant you can't further proceed to finish the game which is a shame. It's a bug people should be aware of before purchasing.
Cannot pass the game: spader doesnt give me his flask and I cannot cook poison to save person because of broken scripts ....why we should solve every puzzle twice?
Glitchy, but still worth a couple dollars and a few hours of your time. Glitches seem to fix themselves if you exit/re-enter game.
A decent HOG that is worth the few hours to waste. Pros. ok story simple puzzles ok gameplay time ( a bit less than 3 hours for the main story) Cons. no voice acting no bonus story low resolution no support for widescreen ends up having black bars on the sides a bit buggy (encountered 2 bugs one where the hit point was very small and had to keep trying and the other were the item vanished from the inventory) How to fix the bugs --------------------------------------- to collect the spider venom you have to place the flask under its fangs and a bit to the left. keep trying and you will get it. you will notice after collecting the venom the item will not be in your inventory. don't worry! press esc save and quit to the main menu and come back to the game... Voila!! your item is back! --------------------------------------- overall despite those bugs i kinda enjoyed it. i really like old HOGs more than newer ones.. it shows (for most parts) that the devs cared making them... though f...
Standard Fantasy HOG. Uses some fairy tale tropes. Decent if your in the mood for this sort of game. Not spectacular.
A clunky, but surprisingly good casual point-and-click adventure with some fun hidden-object scenes. The clunkiness has to do with some aspects being excellent, while others are bizarrely realized. The game world is evocative and smart, but the script and dialog are amateurish. The graphics and characters are gorgeous, but the 3D animations are rigid and primitive. Despite the flaws, there is enough diverse and exciting content as well as clever gameplay to please fans of the genre. If the team hires better writers and animators they can go to great heights! Final note: I have absolutely no idea what the name has to do with the game. There seems to be no relation.
I cannot give this game a good review because it is so buggy under windows 10 that I can't even get halfway through before encountering game breaking bugs, mostly with the HO scenes. It seems that the hidden object scenes are very picky about the exact spot that you touch one object on another for things that have to be combined. If you dont hit that spot (even though it looks like your mouse was right on the object) the object that you were using sometimes gets removed from the scene without the action being completed. At this point the game is hosed - totally broken. You cannot complete the HO scene and get the item needed for the rest of the game. There are a myriad of other issues too, like inventory items being added twice, the screen going black, not being given the item when the HO scene closed, etc etc. Most of these would resolve by leaving the game and coming back in. Finally I encountered a game breaking bug in a normal scene that appears to be repeatable, so I give up....
The lack of voiceover I didn't think would bother me; but it does seem really weird. The HO scenes themselves are Ok, but there are great many objects where you need to 'do something else first.' That's fine, and often makes it more interesting. Here, though, the vast majority seem to be 'click on stuff until something opens or changes in some way.' Since you have absolutely no idea what is interactive, it comes down to random clicking on things. Nothing to do with observation or logic at all. There are numerous slight errors or outright bugs which gradually add up to irritate. A crowbar is a 'wrecking bar' (maybe that's common usage? I'd never heard the term before). A 'clock' in a HO scene turns out to be a pocket watch. At one point I tried to use a bird I'd collected on a balcony. I was told 'That should be enough oil.' You are told to exploit the fact that an enemy is made of wood, but rather than use the pheonix you have with you, you have to go through a convoluted sequence to...
