A kidnapping on the streets of Shibuya brings together a hot-blooded detective, hard-hitting journalist, former gang leader, the head researcher of a big pharma manufacturer and a part-timer stuck in cat costume for a series of events each more unexpected and outrageous than the last. Can they—or the city itself—make it through the day?

An underrated masterpiece I will say. Don't get it full price, get it on sale trust me. They managed to blend a whole lot of genres into one and made it connect all together. The characters are likable and the story just keeps you invested even if it's just mostly text on a screen. It's funny, it's dark, it has Mr. Yanagishita (Best Character in the entire game!!!), it has action, you get the gist it basically has everything. The main mechanic of just changing one character's decision leading to another character either getting fucked over or having something else happen, while wacky is insanely cool to see in action. It's like figuring out where each puzzle piece goes until you complete the entire puzzle (It'll make sense if you play this game trust me). It had me laughing over the countless amount of endings I made it to and I teared up near the actual end. 9/10 More people should play this game. [spoiler][h1][b] HELP THE GAME DEVS LOCKED ME UP THEY FORCED ME TO SAY THIS AHHHHHHH!!...

Great game and a lot of fun. The end can get a little frustrating as you're basically hunting through options to guess the right thing. Especially since they mostly feel like flavor options. Though it's not that hard to search if you get stuck. Though despite that really minor problem the game is a really fun story that's worth going through, great visual novel.

I got into this in order to rewatch the Canaan anime. Very happy I did. Pick it up on sale if you like stuff like Durarara. POSITIVE: +Plot+ This VN has excellent plot. It’s slow for the first couple of hours, but afterwards it keeps expanding and engaging the reader. The plotlines develop in parallel and interweave, so that as a reader you experience the story from different points of view and gain a better understanding of events. It’s rarely slow or rushed. +Presentation+ I’ve never played a VN that uses actual photographs, but they have been used well, and the game’s UI looks spectacular. The writing is mostly great, with the characters being represented through dialogue and plot. Exposition is rarely use and only in very brief sections, so the pace is never off. +Gameplay+ The novel progresses several timelines at the same time and makes the player jump between them. Choices mostly matter because it’s how the plot progresses, although there is one true path, while th...

Never felt so much emotions from a funny visual novel with real life actors. Truly a wide ride while you follow these likable characters thought their own shenanigans while they deal with the worst day of their life in Shibuya. Also, I really want a MEAN CLEAN T-Shirt.
